Re: Moving to Richmond
Black Creek Gun Club has yearly fees. I believe they are going to 200 a year but will know in December. Currently they will tell you to wait till January to join since you will have to full fee. If you go with someone, then it is 5dollars as a guest. They have a 15 to 20 or so Pistol only range, a 2...

Re: Armor Plates
I figure it depends on the situation. I have plates but feel it depends on how bad the situation is. For short term, close range combat I fell plates is the best since most shots is going to fired at your center of mass plus everywhere else. Usually they don't take aimed shots. Now lighter armor for...

Re: .357 Magnum Lever Action rant.
I only have one lever gun and it is a Henry golden boy in 45LC.
I bought it and a Uberti Navy revolver in 45LC so I have a revolver and rifle in same caliber.
I am thinking about getting another set but in 357 Magnum, with the wheel gun I will also be able to fire 38 Specials.

Re: Any other Tokarev TT-33/M57 fans?
I have a Romanian TTC that I love, and have been looking at the M57. I'd eventually like to get CZ52 as well, but I don't see them much anymore. While we're talking 7.62x25, I also want to get a PPS-43 and actually might do so. I'd really like to acquire a PPSh-41, but I've never seen one for sale ...

Re: Any other Tokarev TT-33/M57 fans?
I like the TT33 but for me the CZ52 is a TT33 and can't wait to get a place to go shoot it at. One thing i like is the magazine release on the side rather than the bottom lik th CZ-52. Both are built like a beast since most 7.62X25 were made for sub machine guns and is loaded hot. I can not speak fo...

Re: Kid who wore NRA shirt to school facing year in prison
Seems like Gun Owners Foundation has decided to jump in "pro bono". GOA send it in there email alert. Time to take the gloves off. I have a feeling that the zero tolerance is going to be hacked to pieces but there will be no terrorist screams behind its death. Sad people are that stupid. S...

Sad to see. Helping another country who is going to be our nemesis in the future, well that is if we survive financially.

Re: Active Shooter - How to Respond (DHS)
Watch their video on it. We discussed it in my Criminal Justice class. Came to the conclusion that it is good to lead the sheep to slaughter. They say in the video don't box yourself in, then went to show a lady getting under a desk and pulling the chair to conceal her while the shooter walked past....

Re: Biden to restart White House guns push
In the end it will be repeated over and over again. We need sensible gun laws. Well if they want to do something like that and it is not about the guns but the people would we just not remove the rifle from the background check? You get a background check if you intend to by a gun at a gun show for ...

Re: Can I alter a C&R weapon?
Usually 922r applies to new made firearms or parts kits. As to C&R it is only C&R if it is in the original configuration meaning factory. You can buy one and modify and do what ever you want to it but if you want to sell it to another C&R holder as a curious and relic firearm you have to...

Re: M95 Stutzen carbine vs Nagant Carbine?
Also remember the rear sight is different. Here is how I get on target with my M95. With sight set to lowest I aim at the ground about 3 to 4 feet below center and it still hits high. I use the man size targets from cheaper than dirt. It can be frustrating if you don't know the way to use the m95 re...

Re: what is a carbine?
I carbine is a shortened weapon that is supposed to be used as an intermediate weapon between a pistol and rifle.
More power full than a pistol, with longer range but not as powerful as a rifle and with less range than rifle.
It could be chambered in pistol or rifle ammo.

Re: store " no handguns allowed" signs
I personally believe that if I am in a GFZ whether carrying or not if someone starts shooting I would be within my legal right to sue them for every penny because the infringed upon my 2A right and did not protect me by posting a sign. I believe if you post a GFZ sign then you are responsible for ev...

Last year first quarter I was in an vehicle accident at late night. Re: Front sight on Mauser M48
It sounds like you have a rifle with poor workmanship to it at the factory. I have not needed to move my sights on any of my Mausers. Do not know what would have caused it but go to the surplus forum and see if anyone has had the same issues.
