Any other Tokarev TT-33/M57 fans?
I'm not a huge fan of the Communist guns, but there's something about the Tokarev M57. Good ergonomics and that 7,62x25mm round is a screamer. The new ones forego the safety (which was horrible!) import hack for a real safety, where you can even carry condition 1.

If you could still find them for the price they were when they first came on the scene I would love one. The ammo has gotten a little more expensive too.

Check Aimsurplus.com - not as cheap but new builds and good price for very accurate firearm.

I like the TT33 but for me the CZ52 is a TT33 and can't wait to get a place to go shoot it at. One thing i like is the magazine release on the side rather than the bottom lik th CZ-52. Both are built like a beast since most 7.62X25 were made for sub machine guns and is loaded hot. I can not speak for the M57 since I don't own one but it should work like the other two.

The CZ52 is a sweet gun, too. Like you said, that round is hot and it's a blast to shoot.

I have a Romanian TTC that I love, and have been looking at the M57. I'd eventually like to get CZ52 as well, but I don't see them much anymore. While we're talking 7.62x25, I also want to get a PPS-43 and actually might do so. I'd really like to acquire a PPSh-41, but I've never seen one for sale and it's not in my budget anyway.

Greentop Sporting Goods had an M57 a while ago, a couple of weeks ago or so. I quickly checked their used gun list but did not see it on there so they might have sold it. I have two CZ52 but have not looked at what the current value is. I might try selling one.wpoppert wrote:I have a Romanian TTC that I love, and have been looking at the M57. Good luck on finding a quality PPS-43 since most of the ones out there is Century built. It is a hit or miss if you get one built by them.

Thanks for the tips, Afrikaner. I just bought a bunch of upgrades for my Mossberg, so I probably won't be buying a gun for a few more months, but I always like planning out the next acquisition. I have a prioritized list that I frequently revise, but CommBloc stuff is usually at the top of it.

Yeah, I like the TT. But the Cz vz. 52 is my favorite.
