I too believe the anti's will have a field day with this one.

I too carry as often as I can, with the exceptions being schools and work.

I got mine because I could and I too want one in .308.

I passed on this one due to my going to the show in Fredericksburg & making a purchase.

I think it can happen here, espcially in NOVA, think Alexandria/Olde Town. I CC for the element of surprise and to avoid unwanted attention.

One more affirmation to the goodness of the Maverick 88. I too have one and use it for the reasons you mentioned (HD & fun shooting). Mine is the Security model with the 18 1/2" barrel. I only wish I had the 7 round tube instead of the 5 rounder.

I have a Walther P22 that has never given me any trouble, knowing what are you using it for may help u give better recomendations.
