The Daily Caller noted that in President Obama’s best-selling memoir, Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance , the president recalls [that] as a young boy in Indonesia with his stepfather, Lolo Soetoro. . . . “away from the dinner table, I was introduced to dog meat.” Perhaps he and...

Re: S&W Bodyguard 380 question.

I purchased a blackhawk pocket holster, and it fits pretty good in my jeans pocket, but I think I would rather get a inside the waistband holster. I haven't been around much for a while, but I happened on your message while browsing through the board. If you haven't bought a holster for you Bodygua...

Fiscal Commision Co-Chairs' Deficit Reduction Proposal

Hot off the press, and it should be the talk of the news tonight.

Haven't had chance to review it in depth yet since we just got a copy late this afternoon.

Hope this downloads for you since it's a pdf file.

Rand argues that the ethical thing to do is to remove your support from that society. Exactly: "They need some sort of sanction from us. I don't . . . know the nature of that sanction – but, Dagny, I know that if we value our lives we must not give it to them." - Hank Rearden "Evil i...

Re: Oath Keepers????

In fact, if you are military, your oath requires what OK says. That's true if you are a commissioned officer in the military but not quite all of it if you have enlisted. For anyone who served as an enlisted member of the US military since 1789, their oath also included the statement, "and to ...

Niiiiiiice. How's the CO2? It uses the larger 88 gram cartridge (hidden in the front end of the stock), so the velocity and consistency stay constant for a good long while. I've been able to shoot around 22 8-round magazines before I notice any change. By that time, I'm almost at the end of the car...

Any other airgunners out there? Just curious - I have Beeman (springer type) and really enjoy it. Yep. I probably shoot my Hammerli RWS 850 (.22) more than anything else. Lots of fun. It's very quiet, especially after I put a taped-up Umarex compensator on it. I use it as much in town as at the cab...

DeGoff's had Arsenal SGL41s (converted Saiga .410s) available for $500 (versus a list price of $900) a while ago. Think the price has now gone up another $50 to $100. http://i696.photobucket.com/albums/vv321/ksanftleben/SGL41.jpg And, Saiga does make a 20 gauge model , but they seem to be harder to ...

Robin Sage, great fun. Not always. Anyone remember this? AP Monday, February 25, 2002 RALEIGH, N.C. — A rural roadway became the scene of a deadly confrontation when a deputy sheriff mistakenly opened fire on two plain-clothed Army soldiers out on a training exercise, officials said. Deputy Sheriff...
