Re: glock19, hk vp9, sig p320
Thank you. I spoke with walther today and they are still having problems suppressing the PPQ. I do not think that the VP9 comes with an hk threaded barrel plus it is a very new gun and therefore untested. The sig felt bad in my hands. The glock would be fine but I am more juiced about the PPQ or HK....

Thanks. Did not realize it. I'm in Staunton. I also just fixed it on my profile.

Re: glock19, hk vp9, sig p320
I appreciate the responses. The information on forums seems very consistent amongst many posts with no post stating that such a problem does not exist or has been fixed. I am not concerned about decibels as much as reliability. I am not dropping $700 on a firearm and $1000 on a suppressor only to ha...

Re: glock19, hk vp9, sig p320
I want the ppq but have read that does not suppress well. Of the four: walther ppq, glock 19, sig p320, and hk vp9...does anyone know which is the most reliable when suppressed.

suppressing a walther ppq
My problem: after reading, listening, and handling multiple firearms, I firmly decided that the walther ppq should be my next handgun. However, I also want to suppress the weapon. This was all sounding awesome until I read multiple threads on line stating that the ppq has many malfunctions when supp...

Re: glock19, hk vp9, sig p320
A new contender has entered: the walther ppq m2. Held the glock 19, sig p320, and walter side by side today. The p320 is really clunky. The walther has a dream trigger. The glock would certainly fit the bill, but the walther is just too good. I still need to hold the VP9. Does anyone have any insigh...

Re: Pocket pistol must be holstered?
Why would one say that a loaded firearm without a round in the chamber is not useful. A round can be chambered during the draw costing me a second. It is like a flashlight that needs two buttons to turn on the light instead of one. It is like a car that needs to be started with two keys instead of o...

Re: Pocket pistol must be holstered?
I also find this post very legitimate. I do not carry with a round in the chamber for a couple of reasons. The main one is that my pocket carry gun tends to muzzle my children. I've made a personal choice which would not require a holster. That being said, there are so many carry holsters available,...

glock19, hk vp9, sig p320
I was going to get a glock 19 but then started to look at the hk vp9 and sig p320. I will be traveling around so that I can hold each one, but there is no ranage close to me that will allow me to rent all three. Does anyone have at least two of these firearms? I am most interested in a comparison of...

Re: $200 Gun
I am glad that you got that gun for a good price. I bought a DB380 and the front sight fell off on the 21st round. I also had some feeding problems before this. DB customer service was terrible. My LGS was willing to give me store credit for the DB. Hopefully mine was just a lemon and yours is gold.

Washburn AB-20 bass guitar-$350 (Staunton)
Selling my Washburn AB-20 acoustic/electric bass. Instrument is about 20 years old but was rarely used and has been kept in its plush hard case the whole time. Nice condition. Case included. I am selling for $350 but would also be willing to use as part of a trade for a G19 or G42. I would put up mo...

Re: Honest Gun Dealers in Harrisonburg Area
Gun Shack is awesome. They also have a place in Verona. Runion's is ridiculous. They do not let you carry concealed in their shop. Insane. I like the idea of selling on the forum. Runion's offered me $400 for a gun I later sold for $750. You may be wondering why I am answering a post that is a year ...

Vern, With work and the kids, I will take a rain check on your offer. But, thank you for your generosity and the video. I don't even have a table saw, but if I could get the main pieces cut I could cut, chisel, and wittle away. Great fun. I might have to send that video to my father in law who is al...

Re: Why carry at home?
The only reason I do not carry at home is because my young children are always jumping on me, playing, etc. My compromise is to have guns stashed in 5 different locations in my house. When the kids get older, this will change.
