Re: Would you respond with deadly force to an attack like this?
This new "game" is just one of many reasons why I no longer frequent downtown DC. As in most major cities, the police will never be close enough to keep you from an attack such as this. And as with many other large metropolitan cities, you cannot conceal carry in DC. The POS cowards who co...

Re: Senate rules change
We used to be the only nation in the world whose legislative body provided a significant amount of power for the minority party -- a move the founding fathers did in order to protect our nation from an out-of-control majority. Well, not anymore. The irony is that Harry Reid warned the Republicans ag...

Dunno, but TN looks pretty f'cking good right now... Wife and I are already talking.... And after this last election, if things go like Colorado, Im giving it some thought myself. JC Can Virginia do recalls of state legislators? For that matter, can Virginians recall our state representatives in th...

Small world, SilentServiceVet. I worked at Musselman Applesauce one season in the early '70's. Loved the back roads around there. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png Damn. Love me some Musselman Applesauce! If I worked for them, they could've paid me in cases of ...

Re: Kids worldwide are less fit than their parents were, study s
I saw this AP story re-printed a few days ago in the Frederick News Post. I work in Maryland and somebody had brought the paper into work. Here is the article headline they ran: "Kids worldwide are less fit than there parents were, study says" I don't know what's more pathetic: The fact th...

Re: Tell me about West Virginia
I'll admit that for my whole life, I've had my share of laughs and poking fun at West Virginia. Still, living just a stone's throw from the border, there has always been a part of me that envied the natural beauty and the seeming lack of budget and regulation. Now that I'm older and hopefully wiser...

Re: Best Conceal Carry
Lol not directed at anyone, actually. It was just a clarification. That wear adds character to a well appreciated carry piece. That is one criterion I mentioned about expensive pieces. They will get dinged, scratched and worn. Working pieces at the $2000+ side will get them just like $400 pieces. [...

Leather will not scratch - it will wear finish. Horsehide will be more sweat rwsistant but at a cost premium against cowhide. Holster selection can be just as contentious as carry piece selection. How did voting for a libertarian go the last time? That's right, 4 more years of our country going to hell. Wake the F up folks. See the forest for the trees. There are several laws already in the books that pertain to sexual behavior. This law pertains to sexual offenders. Do you really think you'll go to jail if your GF gives you head? Jeez..... Pull y'all's head out of your butts. I'd like to just point out that one of the reasons we are dealing with ...

Re: Maj. Nidal Hasan convicted in Fort Hood shootings
The fact that he is still alive is a disgrace for our military. While I don't disagree, I believe the true disgrace for our military is that Barry Obama still steadfastly refuses to acknowledge Hasan's attacks as acts of terrorism, thereby denying the benefits to those family members of the decease...

Re: New Gun Control Executive Orders
It goes without saying, but Obama and the Democrats' end-game has always been complete disarmament of the People. Just another example of him banning something quickly and quietly, hoping nobody will notice, or that we'll all think it's a harmless act on his part or not worth fighting over.

My home state making me proud. But the only way this happens is because it's a private school. The public school in Clarksville, AR, was going to do the same but the (Democrat) attorney general said, "no" -- http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57599125/teachers-back-in-classroom-in-arkansa...

This is true ^^^ Maryland passed new laws banning Magazine capacity and if it's an Tactical rifle (M4 Clone) the barrel must be a "heavy" Barrel (After Oct 1st 2013), the Government Type Profiles are illegal (some thing about grenade launcher attachment) anyway the Rifle type matters. Che...

Re: Gingrinch says "get beyond being anti-Obama"
Obama is a mere symptom of a much more serious underlying disease; even if he were to fall off the face of the Earth today nothing would change after. Or to put it another way, you can take aspirin to get rid of the fever, but the abscess remains just the same, and only grows deeper and more pustul...

Re: Piers Morgan lies, claims Virginia has highest murder rate
Liberals do not require, nor desire, the truth or facts. In order to spread their message, they will always lie first, and beg forgiveness later ... if they are caught in that lie. Often they are not caught, and if they are, they will deny, divert (attention), blame, and then apologize -- as a last ...
