Maj. Nidal Hasan convicted in Fort Hood shootings

FORT HOOD, Texas — Maj. Nidal Hasan has been convicted of premeditated murder for the 2009 shooting rampage at Fort Hood. That means he’s now eligible for the death penalty.

Military jurors found the Army psychiatrist guilty on Friday for the attack that killed 13 people and injured more than 30 others at the Texas military base.

The trial now enters a penalty phase, where prosecutors will ask jurors to sentence Hasan to death.

General population in civilian prisons contains a large number of converted Muslims. No guarantee that he would get what he deserves there. Dunno about the brig, but nobody's tax dollars should pay to keep him alive, fed and housed one more day.

Maybe Hasan and Bradley (Chelsea?) Manning can share a cell. Not sure which one I'd feel sorry for.

Hasan can spend his time trying to convert Manning to Islam, and Manning can spend his asking Hasan if his prison uniform makes his butt look big.

He wants to die to be a martyr for jihad. Death is the absolute worse gift we could ever give him.

What we need to do is toss his ass in a deep, dark, empty concrete hole with no clothes so he can't hang himself. Throw him some minor bread, water and beatings every 2 or 3 days for the rest of his life... then when he dies, we need to bury his ass in a Christian owned landfill.

My biggest beef with this is how castrated/evicerated our military has become. This sh!tbag had been giving lectures on Islam and Jihad, bad enough to have some soldiers get up and leave. Why in the HELL was he not reported prior to his actually opening fire>?? ecause he was an officer, and not to be questioned? If/when reported, why were protective measures NOT taken? I served 20yrs in the Military, and swore to protect this country from all enemies, FOREIGN and DOMESTIC! This wannabe martyr gave PLENTY of warning, and should have been stopped. This age of political correctness has to be tempered with reason instead of "compassion". (Everybody gets a trophy... BS!!!)
Anyway, lets hope he is slathered in bacon while in prison, made to shave his beard, and made to salute old Glory for the rest of his days.

He should get life sentence in an 8x8 cell. No TV, no books, no bed, no sunlight, no communication -- nothing but four blank walls and a drain hole for a toilet. Take away his wheelchair. It's his fault he was paralyzed, and he doesn't have to travel far in his tiny cell anyway.

The odds of a death sentence are minimal; the military hasn't had one in generations and I'm sure the judge is keenly aware of his desire for "martyrdom".

Screw the bastard. I don't want my tax dollars keeping him alive. If he thinks he is getting virgins in the afterlife, let him think that. Whatever he gets, it won't be clean and pure.
