Pistol-Packing Private School Takes Aim at Bad Guys

Post by Rualert »

OK, I have to admit, I really like this one. It's from Fox News, but it send a clear message. Too bad we can't get all of the VA schools to see the logic in this.
Here a link to the article:
http://radio.foxnews.com/toddstarnes/to ... -guys.html

A favorite quote from above article: “We have a moral obligation to protect those children in our care and we’re dedicated to doing that with whatever means are necessary,” he said. “I’d rather be in the news for having a sign than having a tragedy.”

Take a minute and read this one, finally something to deter the sick minded who think they can go shoot up any place with a no guns sign

I like it. Good on them for owning up to their responsibilities.

Its nice to see parents presented with a choice when they select a school. Offer options, and let the market decide who has the good ideas.

My home state making me proud. But the only way this happens is because it's a private school. The public school in Clarksville, AR, was going to do the same but the (Democrat) attorney general said, "no" -- http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-575 ... heir-guns/

Why or how the AG is the determining factor on whether a state-run school can arm teachers is beyond me. I was unaware the AG is in charge of the state's education department.

That sign should be present at all schools and backed up with reality.
