Re: Colt Defenderâ„¢ Series
I bought one when they first came out with the 'Defender' series. After break-in of 250 rds there have been zero malfunctions. Great carry gun, 45acp, light and comfortable and in the 1911 style.

Re: A Few Newbie Questions
The selling dealer will have a record of who he sold xxx gun to. This info can/will be provided to BATFE upon receipt of a written trace request, ie:gun found/connected to a crime scene. Also, if the FFL holder gives up his license, his Bound Book containing all of the info is turned in to the BATFE...

The 10mm as originally loaded was wonderful. Then the VSP ruined it! But, it did

I have always considered the Ruger line of guns to be the "Buick" of the firearms industry. Meaning that no, it is not a Cadillac but it ain't bad.

Thanks for the review. I have been a fan of CZ since you had to get them from our Northern Neighbors (in a round about way). Reckon any brand can have the occasional lemon.

Re: Thank's to y"all
After anticipating this event since its inception, I wasn't able to make it. Saturday was my birthday (I am now an offical old fart) and you don't know how much I had looked forward to the camradarie (sp) of you fine people. Some health issues popped up that had to be taken care of before they led i...

I would be willing to bet that the CZ "feels" better and is more of a natural pointer than the Glock, but you really couldn't go wrong with either one.

Actually, I use Motor Kote spray. So far it has beat any to the gun lubes I have used.

Only thing I might add is that the muzzel flash seems especially bad in 38/357 and 45acp.

Re: Glock 22 question
Supposedly the frame rails are marginally larger and imbedded deeper on the 31, 32, and 33. I don't know as I don't have a 22, 23, or 27 to check it against. I do have a 32 with an extra 23 barrel and it works fine even with the 32 recoil spring.

Re: 5 Star Firearms and 8Shot Speed Loader Comparison
Very nice comparison! My question is are the speedloaders that much of an improvement over the moon clips? Does the extra length of the 357/38 in the moon clip as compared to the 45ACP for the S&W/Colt revolvers cause too much of a problem?
