Re: AR Build

Are you mechanically inclined and interested in building your own lower? If so, I'd say go for it, since it really doesn't require any machining or adjustments. All the parts drop/snap/screw into place although you will require a tool for your buffer tube/castle nut. Now, you can still find decent c...

Re: Sig Sauer P320 Range Report

been thinking about this as a keep in the car always gun.

Would you say the grip angle is consistent with all Sigs and just different then your M&P or is it even different than other Sigs?

Re: Elite shooting in Gainesville

I finally made it out there last week with a couple buddies. We went around noon on Wednesday and the place was empty! They closed the 25 yard range and the 50 yard range always had 3-4 open lanes. They also said the 100 yard was available. I don't know about other times, but there wasn't a RSO pres...

Re: My Silencer is Broken. :-(

I'm a little confused. You said, "Once it hit the end of the threads, I normally back it off until it latches.". Did you mean to say that once you start to hit the threads you screw it on until it latches? Once you hit the end of the threads it should be fully latched? I don't know how you...

Considering that Sunday morning is one of the most segregated times in America, it seems natural for it to be a place for hate crimes to occur.

I haven't attended any of their courses yet, but they come to NoVA at least once a year.

RO73, What stock is that? Looks like an ACE folder? Also, how is it installed (welded or screwed)? Looks great and clean!

Re: Suppressed 300 Blackout 9" SBR Is Finally Done

Yes … the cans will develop a nice fire ring of discoloration. Take a look at cans that have gone through thousands of full auto fire, and still going strong! I've been saving for the AAC upper, but I might just buy the following: http://www.joeboboutfitters.com/Radical_Firearms_10_5_300AAC_BLACKOUT...

Re: Suppressed 300 Blackout 9" SBR Is Finally Done

this is the build I am working on right now (more like saving for!). I actually have the lower and can, just need to get the upper built, or bought.

Are you going to start reloading or do you think you can keep up with .70c per round?

Well, AR500 always has a good deal on armor plates. It is about me revisiting what's on my priority list and sticking to that first.

Armor Plates

Just curious to hear people's thoughts on this (nothing related to a pending ban). I've never entertained the idea of buying any type of armored plates or body armor. I figured if I was getting shot at, the probably of being hit in the face, stomach, leg and bleeding out was just as high, and theref...

Re: Interested in reloading

I took the reloading class referenced above and it was GREAT! Highly recommend OR the private class would be awesome also. Let me know if the private class takes off as I'd love to continue to learn!
