Interested in reloading

Post by sasquatch92 »

So I have been really interested in the whole reloading thing but I really want to test the waters out before I jump in head first.

I know there are a whole lot of different types of equipment used some super expensive and some very basic. I'm really looking for someone that has a lot of experience reloading and has different levels of equipment that would be willing to say take Saturday and show me the ropes on how its done/tips/tricks.

I of course would supply the raw materials and then would, under your guidance, use your equipment. I would have no problem working out some sort of a deal to reimburse you for your time/knowledge/equipment usage.

I know my self enough to realize that watching youtube and reading books is not going to teach me enough to get started on my own, not to mention I don't really have the capital to invest in equipment for a decent setup right now. So something like this would be absolutely the best for me right now.

Anyone that would be interested in something like this please PM me. As for the area Herndon, Reston, Chantilly, Manassas, Centreville, Ashburn, Leesburg, Sterling, Oakton, Burke, etc..... in that general area is where I could travel to.

Thanks,
Brad

I'm an NRA certified reloading instructor, and have a few options for you for classes I'm helping to teach.

Course Title: NRA Basic Metallic Cartridge Reloading Course
Class Date/Time: Saturday, March 14, 2015 8:00 AM
Address: Arlington-Fairfax Chapter, IWLA
14708 Mount Olive Road
Centreville, VA 20122
US

The other option will be at Triune shooting sports in Warrenton. They are a new gun shop, and we are just getting the reloading classes going there. The first public class will probably be in the May/June timeframe.

The 3rd option would be to get a few like minded friends together and I can do a private class for you. (limit of 4 students). If we did the private class I would supply all the tools/materials, all you would need to supply is the location, and a willingness to learn.

PM me if you want anymore details.

I took the reloading class referenced above and it was GREAT! Highly recommend OR the private class would be awesome also. Let me know if the private class takes off as I'd love to continue to learn!

I am south of Fredericksburg, but I would gladly show you some of the ropes, dependent on what caliber you want to start with.
