Re: Cheap lever guns?
Even though this thread is over a year old, I will post that I snagged a Rossi 20" 92 in .357 for $492 OTD from Dark Sun. I'm taking her to the range tomorrow with some .357 and .38 Special. This is going to be my CAS rifle for "lost brass" matches, versus my Uberti 1860 in 44-40.

I need a leather gun belt for CAS
I'm taking up Cowboy Action Shooting, I have most of the gear but I don't have the belt. Can someone recommend a place that stocks belts that will hold two cowboy style holsters and some cartridges? I have the holsters, I just need the belt. Thanks.

I just moved out of Dale City back to Lake Ridge. I got my last prescription at the CVS there. Any description of the suspects?

Chickahominy Wildlife Management Area stocks Quail. Decent deer and turkey hunting, too. It's near Williamsburg.

Re: Prior military, concealed carry license...do I still need a
I had a hunting license back prior to the need for the hunter safety course. Since I lost the license I had to take the course 5 years ago. It's two nights, you take a test, and boom, you get a big cert and one that fits in your wallet. I found out that if you shoot an animal and it jumps on to anot...

Re: Oklahoma Suit May End Obamacare
The only reason it was upheld in the Supreme Court was because it was considered a tax. If that goes away, the bill is unconstitutional.Swampman wrote:If they amend it so that it is no longer a spending bill (i.e. - can't be upheld as a "tax"), can it be nullified then?

Re: Moving to VA--where is it going in terms of gun laws?
I think the second Obama election was a scam, how did he make up a 100,000 deficit and win by 100,000 when Prince William County votes were tallied? Anyway, we're pretty pro-firearms here, and the more people like you moving here, the better.

You can use it during the fall season, but not during Spring Gobbler.

56 yards? Depends on which gun I'm using. My CCW? With a good rest. Any of my open carry gun? Sure. I'd prefer a rifle, though.

Re: 9MM HP or .45ACP FMJ?
Even if the hollow point of the 9mm JHP gets plugged up, it becomes a 9mm FP. With the technology out there now in bullet design, this is becoming less of an issue.

Since hunting season is rolling around, it may be a better time to sell soon versus the summer. Do you reload at all?

Re: My first milsurp!
There is no need to do all that at the range. Think about how they were used in the field when they were issued. They didn't clean 10 min after firing... and of day generally. and they didn't throw it back into the armory uncleaned either. No, they used to piss down the barrel to flush the salts ou...

Funny thing, the last two times I went, they had stripped lowers in stock. $115 for Spikes, $135 for Stag. They have everything else to build a complete lower in stock, too. I've been reading about the poor saps up in Maryland with their legislature ramrodding an anti-gun bill through and how everyo...

Re: What is a good sight for an AR-15? I heard TruGlo
I loved my Aimpoint when I had one. Wish I had kept it. The biggest secret to using these is set the dot to the lowest setting for the light you're in. And if you have astigmatism, proper corrective lenses help out, too. At this point, I'm building another M4 clone with a carry handle receiver. If I...

Re: Turn your shotgun into 11 different rifles?
There are other companies making inserts for shotguns. If I can find the link again, there's a company that makes inserts to shoot 45-70. I don't know about you, but I can't afford a fancy double-rifle, but I have an okay double-shotgun that still fires but the barrels look like 10 miles of bad road...
