Re: Ammo/firearm shortage article
... There are so many new shooters/gunowners, that in truth, I'm waiting till all this dies down, and they want to dump their guns for pennies on the dollar. ... Man, I hope you're right! There are some crazy prices being asked for used weapons. Looks to me like easily $100 or more higher th...

Re: .38 revolver suggestions
My carry gun is a S&W 642. It has been around for a long time so it has a track record. There are also lots of options for holsters for belt carry, inside or outside the waistband, and pocket carry. Several companies make grips, as well. Hard to go wrong with a 642 if you are looking for concea...

Since they had laws against assault weapons in CT, as well as laws against 'high-capacity' magazines, clearly this shooting did not actually happen.

Oh wait, you mean he was stopped by other people with firearms near the area? Not by police who were called on a phone and minimally show up 2 minutes after the fact. +1 for Pro Shooters. My wife and I took their class when we first purchased handguns a few years ago.

With our 2 idiot senators from Va being Democrats, not sure how much good it will do but they and our Congress-morons need to hear from their constituents about any new AWB. Also if anybody does not yet belong to the NRA it is past time to join. The only things these avaricious degenerate politician...

What is even more rid iculous than the politicians classifying rifles by meaningless atttachments like pistol grips is how willing so many in the American populace are to accept such idiotic statements at face value.

Re: Should We Arm Our Teachers?
I'm a teacher and have had a CHL for over a decade now. At least three of us in the building have CHLs. The parents in particular and the public at large expect us to fight to the death if a nut comes into the school and tries to kill the kids. It's unrealistic and counterproductive to make us do t...

As a caveat here,,Never underestimate the stupidity of politicians.. They shoved Obamcare through didn;t they? ... And a corollary, unfortunately, that may be the new reality - never underestimate the stupidity of the American electorate. They re-elected Obama, after all. We like to assume that peo...

Thanks all. Have seen variations in numerous places of "my guns got lost in a fire / boating accident / earthquake / tsunami". BUT, by taking that path (which if anyone here says it, I totaly believe what you say), they can never be seen in a public place unless it is only by close friends...

This may be premature, but has anyone decided what they'll do about their "assault weapons" if Feinstein's atrocity gets passed as written? I don't own any long guns that would qualify, but obviously a huge majority of semiautomatic handguns in 9 mm, .40 S&W, and other common calibers ...
