Re: Best concealed carry pistol?
I agree that the best gun to carry is the one you're most comfortable with and can conceal comfortably. I'm most comfortable with my Colt 1911 .45 but I carry a Glock 30, which I'm also very comfortable with, because for me the 1911 is too big for CC. It's just all about personal preference.

Re: VA-ALERT: Roundtable with local anti-gun bartender
You think the bartender would be more concerned about those who OC since they can legally drink alcohol.

Re: Some D.C. Residents Say It's Too Hard To Get A Gun
Can a DC resident legally purchase a handgun from an individual, for example from VA or MD, and have it registered?

Re: Two Tampa Police Officers Killed During Traffic Stop
The shooter was wanted in Jacksonville for writing bad checks. He was also a convicted felon on parole. It looks like he surrendered to police on July 2. http://www.aolnews.com/crime/article/do ... s/19541001

Re: What Is A Good Hollow Point Ammo?
Guess I should move to town and buy a newspaper. I honestly didn't know that Colt made a 1991A1. How do you like it? I've only had it for a few weeks and it's the only 1911 style gun I've owned so I don't have anything to compare it to. But I really like the way it shoots and it seems to be pretty ...

What Is A Good Hollow Point Ammo?
I have a Ruger P95 9mm and a Colt 1991A1 45. What is a good hollow point round to use for these? Should I use +P?
Thanks for your help!

Question Re House Bill 885
House Bill 885, passed 74-25, would allow any person who may lawfully posses a firearm and is carrying a handgun while in a personal, private vehicle or vessel to keep the firearm secured in a container or compartment in the vehicle or vessel. Does this mean a person without a CHP can legally have a...

New Member in Southwest VA
Hi Everyone, I'm a beginning shooter new to the forum. I'm in Carroll Co., about an hour or so south of Blacksburg. Does anyone know of any places to shoot in this area that are close by? The closest places I know are in Mt. Airy, NC and the Wythe Shooting Range, both of which are about 45 minutes f...
