Re: AMMO LOCATIONS/ GUN DEALS
It was there yesterday, right where it has always been. Maybe people realized they were being robbed at the show and decided to clean out Walmart because it was so close?

Re: Virginia moves closer to creating state’s own currency
The only issue that I see with this is that unless it is made of precious metals and somewhat based on their values it will be hard to make it work. It would be hard for a vendor to purchase a product from outside of VA with a state currency. And as much as I would like for us to be self sufficient ...

Re: Anyone been to the LDS warehouse in MD or VA?
I have a friend at work that is encouraging me to go with him later this month. He is not a member but says that they are very receptive to outsiders coming in and participating. I believe that they expect you to participate in a prayer in the morning before everything gets started but otherwise you...

Re: Virginia to Print its Own Money?
Well it sounds like secession may be closer than the masses realize. This is how it started last time. The good part about this is that our Northern neighbors won't be able to blame it on slavery this time. It will be focused on states rights and the upholding of the Constitution as it was intended ...

Re: 2A supporters in MD take to the streets to protest gun grab
Well this changes my opinion of Marylanders. All of them that I know personally are very left, way left. So to see this turn out gives me hope for our neighbor state.

I was going down too but found some ammo in stock at one of my local Walmarts so I decided not to make the hour drive. Sounds like it was a good decision.

Trying to repeal Presidential term limits
I am not old enough to remember FDR but I know that he was the last President to hold office for more than 4 years. I also know that this amendment was put in place with good reason. I'm starting to wonder more and more if this an episode of the Twilight Zone. Or maybe the movie Idiocracy!!! http://...

Re: 1911 Recommendation
You'll find some very mixed reviews on the Rock Islands. I love my RI Tactical in .45. It has only seen a few hundred rounds but it has operated flawlessly. The only thing that I did to it was completely disassemble and clean it out of the box and have only field stripped it after trips to the range.

Re: Moving to VA with Handguns.
I wasn't talking about the police. Neither the Fredericksburg nor the Spostylvania police have ever given me any trouble. I was referring to people that live in town. Some ask questions but some just seem to be offended by the sight of a gun. If I have been out in the woods and have one of them on I...

Re: Moving to VA with Handguns.
Welcome to the 'burg. I open carry sometimes too but keep in mind that this is a college town and tends to be a little liberal. If you do it often enough someone will say something. I recommend the CHP because no one really needs to know you have it until they need to know.

Re: OWS protestor gets owned by ex-Marine / cop
I guess I come from a different time or dimension or something because I don't see an arguement here. I doubt that this OWS demonstrator was invited to this ceremony and it looks to me like he caused a dsruption and was escorted out. In the part of VA that I come from if you show up at someone else'...

Re: RIA 1911 won't return to battery
I know that other companies encourage you to disassemble them and ship them as machine parts to get cheaper shipping. I didn't know what Armscor's policy was but that is a pretty big hit for shipping. The good part is that they usually go over the gun good while its there and you get a like new gun ...

Re: RIA 1911 won't return to battery
If you are not comfortable trying to fix it I would suggest contacting Rock Island about sending it back to them to fix. Call Advance Tactical @ 1-775 537-1444 and see what they have to say. They are known for being a little liberal with their warranty work so maybe they can help you out and if not ...

Re: Best concealed carry pistol?
The short answer to this question is: The gun that you will carry in the largest caliber that you can afford to shoot so that you are comfortable with it. There are lots of arguments about what caliber is the smallest that you should carry but if you look at what the people who carry guns as part of...

Re: small cc gun ---kel tec
I think that like most other products the PF9 had some issues that were not found until the gun got out into the real world. My 2010 PF9 works as well as any of my other guns. The difference may be that I am a tinkerer and I take all of my guns apart and inspect, polish, and lubricate them the way t...

I have a P95DC that I bought used and it has never failed. I think that it is awesome. It's light and easy to shoot.
