Re: Anne Rice leaves Christianity--and I can understand 100% why
Wait-Anne Rice was a Christian? Okay, let's say for a ****ing second that I believe that in the first place. She got rich and famous by writing about vampires (Interview with a vampire, a book and a movie for those unaware) who treated the world as their playground with little thought to consequence...

Re: Tomorrow is "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"
Hey 'bullet', I threw down the gauntlet on Sharia law and you reply back with 'Racist'? Dude, seriously lame. That is a total ad-hom attack and illogical. FACT: Radical Muslims are equating Mohammed with ALLAH and THAT is BLASPHEMY! There are Images dating back to the 14th century and only a few had...

I say use a pneumatic hammer, like in No country for old men. It's what we use to slaughter cattle, right. Much cheaper than the electric chair, and easier than injection.

Re: Tomorrow is "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day"
The total f'ed up part about all this is that it is not in the Koran that you can't show Muhammed. It says that you can't show Allah, in line with the whole worshiping idols bit. It just became tradition that no one depict muhammed and now, apparently, it's defacto law. So, much like the immigration...

So you DON'T want a war of words. Allow me to retort. W and Cheney and Reagan were not thugs, But both Clintons and Janet Reno are, along with Chavez and Castro. And I would still rather have them in the White House than Obama. Also, I think you are the sort of person that decries how we treated the...

I think that Ballet is okay, but they need to shuffle off the same ol' same ol ones that they do. Move this thing out of the 17th century. For example, instead of the Nutcracker and Mme Butterfly, try adapting Enter the dragon. It's made for it! Or how about Five deadly venoms? Seriously.

Re: chavez calls obama "boy"
1. Go die, Chavez, no one would miss you. 2. An actor shot Lincoln, so that should tell you how much we should trust actors. 3. Danny Glover is a not just a pogue, but a bad actor. He only got famous riding Mel Gibson's coat tails. 4. He and Sean Penn should be put in a death match-against an angry ...

I think that most of the hydroshok is also plus p. I've fired some round just to see how they did (too expensive for regular range time) and they seem to do well. I did not notice any stronger recoil.

Ejecting right in my face! part 2
A while back I bought some 147gr ranger 9mm and in the sig 229 and the walther p99, the shells were repeatedly ejecting right towards my face, hitting my forehead, landing on my eyepro, etc, etc. I theorized that it might be subsonic ammo that was not proving enough force to clear the chamber proper...

Re: Fort Hood Shooting
I doubt very much if anyone in the Obama administration could figure why the floor was wet with an empty bucket overturned on it when told that there was a full bucket of water on the previously dry floor. This same mentality led to OJ Simpson being let loose. They cannot reconcile cause and effect....

Re: Ejecting right in my face!
I hear you GS78, I was just exasperated that I got that wrong. I am going to ASS-sume that it is the force of the load, but is it too much or too little? Would this happen with 124gr for example. Back in THE OLD DAYS before gilbert's got all snotty with steel core (yeah, I went to the NRA range, the...

Re: Ejecting right in my face!
Okay, I just looked at the box: you are right, it's 147gr 'Ranger'. You are very smart, I am very dumb. Yes, I got the joke on the gangsta grip, but I wanted to make sure that everyone knew I wasn't holding the gun weak. Now that Gilbert's is sharpshooters, they informed me that NO steel core ammo i...

Have you given a thought to the AMT DAO .45 backup? It's stainless, has no safety at all (Unless you count the insanely heavy trigger pull), no sights (A groove down the top of the frame), a heel switch mag release, and kicks like a mule. I know these sound like bad things, but it's like having a pe...

Re: Ejecting right in my face!
Okay, thanks for the thoughts, but: 1. I NEVER fire gansta style. (though I do encourage all criminals and terrorists to fire that way, it just looks so dope) 2. I use a two handed grip, thumbs locked down on the side. 3. The problem is that the only other ammo I have is Wolf and Sharpshooters won't...

Ejecting right in my face!
Here's the dealio: I bought some Winchester 145gr 'law enforcement' 9mm. I ran some though a Sig Sauer 229 AND a Walther p99. Not only was I getting crappy shot groups, but the cases were hitting me in the face, on the head, dropping onto my arm, sitting on top of my eyepro..... Neither one of these...

The PPK/S is an awesome little pistol. It's what got my wife into shooting. I told her I'd buy here a gun and asked what kind she wanted. She said "James Bond's gun'. It's an awesome little gun to shoot, easy on the recoil and very pointable.
