I'm honestly shocked with the current party in control in Richmond.
Do you happen to have the link to the bill?

Re: Ban Legislation Announced Less Than 24 Hours After Election
I haven't seen any court ever overturn a state or federal weapons ban. Whenever a state or feds have banned a specific weapon or weapon characteristics, it has stood, regardless of suits. I hope someone can correct me, but I think the precedent to support legislation has been set. [ Post made via M...

Re: Gov. Northam announces gun control package
They are using the term "assault firearms" to include ALL firearms with over 10 round magazine capacity? That's a new one. Now we have assault pistols. Now I have assault pistols and I did nothing to get them. On the Extreme Risk Protective Order, I wonder if the State would be willing to...

Northern VA Opticians that are shooters?
I usually wear bifocals for close and far but when I'm shooting I've been able to not have to wear them. It's time for my annual eye exam and I want to look at prescription shooting glasses but my optician isn't a shooter so she's not sure what I should get. Does anyone see an optician that is a sho...

Re: Elite Shooting Sports - Getting Aggravated
I've only been to Elite on weekdays and it's hit or miss on timing, it seems like the 100 yard range is always full and has a waiting list. I haven't had this problem on the 25 and 50 range. I'm not sure where in NoVA you're in but Range 82 in Midland (outdoor} has unlimited time for members. The on...

Re: McAuliffe says he'll seek new gun restrictions in Virginia
Well, after yesterdays beatdown, Northam can continue McAweful's quest for gun control. If the House of Delegates flips as it looks like they might do, it's over. They will cram through every bad gun control bill. They won't wait, they will have these bills ready to sign in the first few days.

Re: CCleaner update
Just upgrading won't remove the malware. It's designed to stay on the system. If you've installed it in the last few months I would recommend downloading FTK it's a forensic tool. You need to search for the MD5 hash for the malware which is 75735db7291a19329190757437bdb847 and wipe it from the disk....

Re: Well, This Is Spiffy
I don't know that it does affect States Rights, in this particular instance. The States have no right to enact laws that violate the 2nd Amendment, anyway (Though, both State and Federal governments do so, regardless.) So, I think that this is a step in the right direction. Assuming that this can p...

I would rather have seen Blue Ridge use the money to revamp the range in Chantilly which is desperate needed.

And just like that, we are back. not even close. There is MUCH work left to be done. This gave us some breathing space is all... remember not too many years back trump was a democratic supporter, so I'll wait to judge him on actions, not the bluster of the last year. +1,000! I like to think Trump i...

Re: I think we're headed down the road to a bad place
Alexander Tytler predicted where we'd be today. If you're not familiar with Tytler he was Scottish historian the University of Edinburgh, had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years prior. "A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a perma...

Re: Visiting from PA and need some info
I find this website quite helpful for information on all 50 states http://www.handgunlaw.us Just be careful going through Maryland, they have a well documented habit of harassing gun owners from neighboring states.

Wow. I've heard they are usually taking 9+ months. That's pretty good turn around. I've been holding off for a few reasons but the wait was the biggest thing stopping me.

Wow, just wow. I've seen some bad reporting but he just flat out lies. At least most of the anti gun journalists can use clever wording to hide that they are outright lying to our faces.
