Re: PA Gun Rights Haters Show Their Intolerance

Kelo, Nice comment, thanks. I'd take it a step further & say that the problem is progressivism: Today, we live in a world of the progressives’ creation, somewhere halfway between socialism and liberty. It is a volatile mixture. It is a world increasingly ruled by force; force wielded by a power...

Re: HEY OLD GUYS! Did you wear ribbons with fatigues?

Air Force greens were phased out sometime around 1987 - 1989. For a while, you could still wear your greens as long as they were serviceable. Never much liked the BDU's which were heavy and hot in the Mojave sun. We were allowed to alter the greens into short sleeves, which was a bonus....but not t...

We got 6 inches or so in northern VA. I spent an hour or two shoveling and getting the snow off the cars, then shoveling again after the plow came through (I wish they would just leave the snow in the street and let us drive over it instead of making a wall and blocking our cars in). Overnight low ...

He completely ignores the fact that citizens, by virtue of being citizens, ARE the militia. Which, of course, entitles all citizens the right to own, should they desire and can afford them, any weapon that any military might have access to. Or any other weapon, for that matter. Re: What are the odds that your retirement will be there for you

I haven't had a bank account in years. I have yet to find a bank that I consider to be trustworthy. If I was going to stockpile anything, gold and silver would not be it. I'd stockpile things that are immediately useful. For example, offering to trade gold for ammo from a guy who is cold and hungry...

Re: Armalite is dead to me now

@gunderwood - Not being an AR guy, I don't understand the direct impingement commemt. Care to educate me? I like funny things, too. The nominal design for an AR15 is DI. That means the gases push against the bolt/bolt carrier directly to cycle the action. The gases expand inside the bolt carrier an...
