First off: dude's hair is fantastic. I mean: seriously, love it. I can't stop looking at it. Well, that and his amazing chin. He's an 80s anime version of an American newscaster. I swear to god I saw him on the Transformers. Second...Alex Jones makes it easy. I wish that dude would just go back to l...

AKs...don't know that I've ever posted here
Here are a few of my babies, all built by Mike down at Coastal Gun Works in Virginia Beach. A pair of Yugo M70 kits on old ORF M64 receivers. One's got an ESS barrel and the other is original Yugo, both hot blued: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v245/formula73/78740734-AD2B-4C5F-BC67-3D76C217C249-...

PTR/HK rifle guys...
Mike at Coastal Gun Works in Virginia Beach just did the paddle mag release conversion for the first time on my PTR 91 and it came out great for $100... ...about 150 cheaper than anywhere else I've found! Robertrtg.com and HKparts.net have the take-off parts and semi-auto bushings for cheap. Great g...

There was a decent turnout for a week day. Next up is Saturday the 23rd. I'll be there!

Re: WTB: Half decent Yugo M70 AK barrel
Unfortunately, they're sold out of everything AND none of those are the 'right' barrel for an M70. The Green Mountain US barrel for that particular application is the one they call the 1970... ...which I'd LOVE to get but they're backordered indefinitely from everywhere. That's why I'm on the quest ...

WTB: Half decent Yugo M70 AK barrel
Of course, now that I've got the money for the receivers and kits, they no longer come with barrels. I managed to find one that was in pretty good shape and got that particular build underway, however, finding a second has proven difficult. Centerfire has used... ...for $25, each or $20 for 3 or mor...

Re: More media bias...
The media will automatically give them the run of the board. This isn't a game.
When it comes to numbers, we're all freaking out enough that we SHOULD have them. There were only a couple hundred at the protest in Richmond. Let's nail it this Feb 8th. I'll be there.

March on Feb 8th
While we were patting ourselves for our turnout, this happened. The irony of the attendees (disarmed and oppressed citizens from the most restricted locations in the country) is not lost on me. We need to step it up, folks. It's their right to march. It's the right of the media to pad the numbers, I...

I've also had to delete a bunch of my friends who turned out to be raving loon gun grabbers. Classy bunch.

Me neither, nor do I have the organizational skills to make it happen. I suppose if we just plaster that link on every gun related forum we attend we might get somewhere?

Re: Any plans for marching on our state Capitol?
I appreciate the fact that VCDL is organizing for the 21st, but on Saturday the 19th the entire country is organizing a march on all state Capitol buildings. I don't want to see VA with a poor turnout. Like most, I have a job and will not be able to attend on the 21st. I'd like to see VCDL support ...

Re: Anyone know if this is a good quality pistol?
Go find yourself an old beat ass Norinco. I bought one a few years back for next to nothing, it goes 'bang' every time I pull the trigger, and it's never had problems with any JHP out of either the original GI mags or this new Kimber thing I got a few months back. It might not be the tightest 1911 i...
