Does he mean to run you through VCIN? Unless I'm misunderstanding what you're saying and what was taught in the class, that's illegal.

Re: Glock 19 gen 4 or Springfield XD 9 pro/cons

Also no reason to be subjective... From the original post: I know lots of people have lots of opinions, and I am counting on it. I just wanna know what people think of a Glock 19 Gen 4 vs Springfield XD 9. Can I offer you a differently angled knife to help you cut that up before you bite off too mu...

Re: Glock 19 gen 4 or Springfield XD 9 pro/cons

A couple days late, but here's my two cents. I've owned and carried both. I originally went SA XD9SC because, like many, I picked it up and it felt much more comfortable than a Glock. I wanted a gun that felt good from the start, not one that I had to adjust to. The XD does have a higher bore axis. ...

Re: Do local dealers lower thier prices at the gun shows?

I can say with certainty, some prices are lower.
I bought a .22 from a local store a couple months ago.
At the most recent local gun show, the retailer was there
with the exact same model for $30 less.

Re: Illegal alien child killer released with no bail

Let me reiterate this, he is not being held. The nun killer had an ICE detainer when he drove drunk and plowed into them. Police originally arrested him in October when the injuries were not consistent with his story. 2200 felon illegals have been released by the ADC in PWC since we went 287 (g) in...

Re: Illegal alien child killer released with no bail

It says he's being held on an ICE detainer, so no, he hasn't gone anywhere. He may have been released on his PR for that charge, but since ICE said they wanted him, he should still be sitting in that jail cell. That or they transferred him to one of the many jails they keep their detainees in. Now, ...

Re: (UK) Girl fined for fighting back at masked man

She would have been fine if she called the police after he went unconscious. I'm sure she was still hysterical so wasn't thinking rational.
However, the fact that the initial aggressor is getting off without charges is more ridiculous.

Re: Which branch of the armed Forces has the toughest training?

Lack of communication... I wasn't thinking of MOUT/CQ. I was going more for the regular qual/kd ranges. Yes, we do alot more of the shoot, move, communicate stuff than the POG jarheads. I agree with that. The DS would smoke us if he heard burst fire go off. It's good that they're updating training. ...

Re: Which branch of the armed Forces has the toughest training?

All marine recruits engage KD upto 500. Army doesn't go over 300, this includes infantry in AIT. This is a well known fact. They also do standing and kneeling. When I went through, we did fox hole and prone (supported and not). I do believe that has since changed though. Just because they're all tra...

Re: Which branch of the armed Forces has the toughest training?

That's one way to gauge it. Being a grunt who trained on Sand Hill, I'll admit Marines have it tougher. I'm embarrassed to say that even the Marine P.O.G.s are better trained in marksmanship than we were as Infantry Soldiers. I wish the Army would have copied the Marines more closely on the combat t...

Re: Gander Mountain's Virtual Range

There is a firearms simulator used in Jail and LE basic (as well as in the military). It's more for practice of use of cover and UOF (Use of Force); as much as can be done with a computer program. Our instructor had an automated paintball gun set up with foam balls if we weren't covered properly. Du...
