I also use a Minotaur kydex-reinforced belt. It's 1.5", with a taper to 1.25" in the front so it doesn't look odd with dressier pants. No sag or twist.

Chicago should also do something about its "3-year-old-not-in-bed-at-10pm-and-instead-out-in-a-crappy-neighborhood" law.

IMO if you are not comfortable carrying a firearm with a round in the chamber, you are not ready to be carrying that firearm. Re: IWB Tuckable Holster Recommendations
I carry in a Milt Sparks VMII and love it. It comes with snap loops standard but tuckable kydex clips are available as an accessory.
After seeing a Rocketman in one of Proshooter's classes, I'd like one of them, too. I'm hoping they'll come out with a tuck able model at some point.

Re: Ridiculous CHP process in Radford
Yep, DryBones, there's definitely a procedure defined explicitly in the statute. There are threads here that detail the challenging experiences that others have had in certain circuits. The good thing is that the office of the Chief Justice of the Va Supreme Court overseas all of the circuit clerks,...

Re: Ridiculous CHP process in Radford
DryBones getting it notarized is not required when you first apply but after 45 days if you get it notarized confirming its been 45 days you can carry until the judge makes a decision. Sorry, not correct. The clerk can notarize (or whatever they call it when they witness your sig) or I believe you ...

Re: Could You Support 'Do-It-Yourself' Background Checks?
Why is this such a "big deal"? If you are so concerned that you cannot see a concealed permit and va dl, don't sell it f2f. sell it at consignment at an ffl, sell it to a pawn broker, or pay a ffl to do it. Good Lord, this is making a mountain out of a molehill. The key point is the Gov't...

Re: Hunting license as competency proof?
See 18.2-308, http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+18.2-308 , section P1 for the list of acceptable safety/competance training. It doesn't list 'hunting license', per se but rather, completion of an approved hunter safety course. I'm not a hunter, but does getting a hunting license re...

Re: How open carry works
Laws in VA prohibit acts and impose penalties when broken, rather than allowing things. Then, follow-on section of the statute spell out exceptions to the criminal offense. For example, 18.2-308, http://leg1.state.va.us/cgi-bin/legp504.exe?000+cod+18.2-308 is the statute section generally discussing...

That is right. I do have much more! sHMIV, I am very glad we homeschool if only to keep that insanity away from my kids. I'd rather explain to them repeatedly why mommy had to shoot that bad guy than pick out their coffin and grave clothes. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/imag...
