IWB Holster
Looking for advice on IWB Holsters for a 1911 style pistol with a 3.5" barrel. Advice on a good belt is also appreciated.

I'm currently using an IWB holster from Shepherd Leather and love it. http://www.shepherdleather.com/

There are lots of good IWB holsters. For a gun belt, you want a double-layer or else it will sag. The best bargain I have seen in double-layer belts is from Filson but there are several custom makers online. The Filson is 1.25 inches wide, which fits not only jeans but better trousers as well. Bought mine at Green Top.

I'm loving my very minimalist Raven Concealment Vanguard 2 for my full-sized M&P9.

Re: IWB Holster
I picked up one of these at the last gun show. It can be IWB or OWB with a quick swamping of the belt clips. I am very happy with it so far.

For a belt I have had this on for years. Still strong.

Similar to the 5.11 belts.

Thanks for the input. I ended up on the Comp-tec site this morning and like what I see, although I think I probably want a cant rather than a neutral presentation.

Thanks, I saw that one as well. While I was looking I read the following at the bottom of the page:
"Comp-Tac makes every effort to provide accurate information on all of there products and prices, therefore shall in no way be held liable for any errors or omissions to be found on these web pages. All prices are plus any applicable state taxes and fees."
Guessing that includes spelling and grammatical errors?

Milt Sparks VM2 is the IWB I use. No other choice for me.
I also use a Minotaur kydex-reinforced belt. It's 1.5", with a taper to 1.25" in the front so it doesn't look odd with dressier pants. No sag or twist.
