Re: U.S. Military Weapons Inscribed With Secret Bible Codes
I'm not a very religious guy, but I say F-'em. The line has to be drawn somewhere. If not, the godless libs and the ACLU will keep pushing and pushing. As far as the Fox article, who in the hell is this spokesman? Capt. Geraldine Carey, a Marine Corps spokeswoman, said Tuesday in an e-mailed stateme...

agree to both posts. you can copy right out of the box and post up a new thread. although the chat box cycles to a maximum number of posts, admins can access a record and do with what they want. (depends on the version you get) I don't know if you have any moderators helping you, but they're a good ...

Chat Box
Some of the other hobby forums that I belong to have a Chat Box on the home page. Signed in members are able to chat and BS without actually having to start a thread. It has it's pros and cons. Pro: relieves thread traffic and many of the simple, repeat questions end up being asked there. Con: some ...

Re: America Rising: An Open Letter to Democrat Politicians
USMCGunner: Your post was just fine initially. Single issue American voters are many and varied, and that's fine. Nothing says any of us have to consider one, a few, or all issues before deciding which political candidate to support. In fact, we can cast our vote based on anything. That's an absolu...

Re: America Rising: An Open Letter to Democrat Politicians
Good thing to do but it is absolutely critical that we think beyond merely protecting our gun rights. To do anything less IMVHO is folly. Thats why we're in the situation we are in now. Too many citizens are only interested in what will directly impact them. I am extremely interested in protecting ...

Re: Beware of Virginia Law on Firearms!
I am familar with the book but honestly, I have never read it. The thing about books is that they are only as valid as the day that they are printed. Laws change, case law happens, etc. My comment was not so much directed at the scenario presented but rather what you said about brandishing legally....

Copy, thanks for the link and the perspective. I'll be reading that today. I just want to be doing it the right way. I got my permit almost 14 years ago as soon as I was legal and I used my military status to do so vs. a course. THAT is an example of an irresponsible move of someone young and probab...

Re: Beware of Virginia Law on Firearms!
He brandished his firearm; legally speaking and did not use it. Just for clarification, you cannot "brandish, legally". Brandishing (18.2-282, COV) itself is a criminal act. The lawful display of a firearm is exempt if the person is "engaged in excusable or justifiable self-defense&q...

I've presented a couple of points so far on here not to be argumentative, but to get other persp...
