Re: Need a shop that carries hard to find ammo
I too think internet is the best place. Check Grafs as they charge a flat rate shipping of $4.95 so if just ordering a box or two they may be the cheapest overall. Natchez is also good as well as Powder Valley INC if you are ordering in bulk.

Best bang for the buck is probably one of the SWFA SS scopes.

That is weird, and I'm sorry to hear about your experience with them. Most reviews of their cs I'd read had been positive. I guess that's now always the case.

Hites Hollow is a nice range, and I'm glad you enjoyed your new gun. They are very nice guns.

If you have to send it to Taurus I feel sorry for you. I don't think I've ever heard of anyone having a good experience with Taurus customer service. This is why I'm afraid to buy a Taurus. They make some guns that interest me, but I'm not going to support a company like that, and they seem to have ...

Yep, that's a great price. I've found many of them for $100, and 1 or 2 for $80, but that's the cheapest I've seen them in the last couple of years. Where did you get it? If the other one is that price, pm me if you don't mind. I might be interested.

Re: Pros and cons of 870 Express Super Mag
I've had experience with one, and a positive experience is not something I can say I had with it, but I figured it wasn't any point in posting it since he'd already gotten it.
The only 870 I'd consider would be a Wingmaster.

Re: Ruger 10/22-good starting Rifle?
IMO it's a great choice for a first rifle. It's one of the best .22's imo, and everyone needs a .22 as their first rifle.

Re: New Automatic Reloader!
I don't think I could trust a reloading setup that was fully automatic. It's just too easy for something to go wrong and for it not to catch it.

Re: range in Richmond.. Dominion?
Yep, I've never been to a range that won't let you use their own ammo, but I know there are ones out there. There are lots that will let you shoot your own ammo. Unfortunately not to many out towards my way :( The new one in Richmond's west end looks promising though. I have been considering changi...

Gunbroker was also going to be my suggestion. Also search on RiverOfGuns.com and you may find a seller selling one somewhere.

A friend has one. I think his is the FNX, and he likes it, but honestly he's probably shot less than a box of shells through it. I too like it, but don't have all that much experience with it.

I will have to check this place out. Are his ammo prices low too, or just gun prices?

Have any of you guys checked with TTI in Ashland, or is Glen Allen? Not sure, but it's one of those.

Glad to hear you had a good experience, but this is the first time I've ever heard of anyone having a good experience there. This is one of those gunshops that most people have on their list to avoid.

I like the Federal Champion just fine, but I also like WWB, as well as Federal American Eagle.
