Interested in reloading

So I have been really interested in the whole reloading thing but I really want to test the waters out before I jump in head first. I know there are a whole lot of different types of equipment used some super expensive and some very basic. I'm really looking for someone that has a lot of experience ...

Re: Looking for a large range case

So I'm thinking about making a setup using these attached to some nice ply then make a box covering it up.

Re: Looking for a large range case

Thanks everyone,

Beginning to realize that I probably will have to build my own case..... Shouldn't be too hard I hope.

Looking for a large range case

So I would love to tap into the great knowledge of the members of this forum to get some input on ideas to carry my weapons to the range in one single case. Right now I have to carry 3 double rifle cases to the range when I want to shoot and that is a very difficult task, I don't like just having on...

Re: Ed's Red

Just my .02, As soon as I purchase a new gun or used gun for that matter I completely strip it down and remove all oil from the weapon. Then I apply a lot of fireclean to it, much more than they recommend and let it sit for a couple days. After that I will wipe it all down then apply the recommended...

Re: Beretta sending me a replacement Nano with a new s/n

Just wanted to say from personal experience (Sent my XDs to springfield for the recall) that if it is sent off to the manufacturer for repair they can send the same gun directly back to your home and not a FFL. Now what you mention about the s/n changing not sure how that will affect it.

Re: AR .308/7.62x51 NATO style rifle questions.

MarcSpaz, That sir is a beautiful weapon system you have. Something like that is definatly my goal, guess I will continue to save up insted of going with something cheaper that I could afford right now. Question tho, I understand that the piston system is specific to the Sig but do they make a gas b...

Re: AR .308/7.62x51 NATO style rifle questions.

GrumpyMSG, I think I may have been not clear on the ammo, what I ment is that is the kind of ammo I shoot for fun (not performance) at the range because it costs next to nothing. I know that it doesn't have the consistency for long range shooting. The reason I included it is because I have heard som...

Re: What caliber for my wife?

Just thought I would throw my two cents in here, So I will admit right off the batt that I am partial to the Springfield XD (m,s,mod.2) line of pistols. I have both the XD .45 and XDs .45. I often take new shooters to the range and start them off with something light like my Ruger Mark 2 to get the ...

Re: AR .308/7.62x51 NATO style rifle questions.

Forgot to ask in my last post, what kind of glass would anyone recommend for a semi auto .308? Need something that has alot of zoom, got some bad eyesight and alot of my shooting is done indoors where its hard to see with good eyesight anyways. Price needs to be under $300.00 including a good mount,...

Re: AR .308/7.62x51 NATO style rifle questions.

Thanky you everyone for your insightfull responces. So I did some research on the Sig 716, the model that I am most interested in is the Sig DMR version, so for weight alone if they are measuring the same way as DPMS did on their sight, the Sig 716 DMR is a full 2 pounds heavier than the G2 SASS. I ...
