Re: Elite vs SEG
Nice comparison. I would like to add that at SEG you can also turn around and get the attention of the RSO , 95% of the time I've been there there is usually one (if not an RSO then one of the instructors) hanging around in the range as well as the one in the booth who keeps an eye on both main rang...

Re: Should Training Be A Requirement For Carrying Concealed?
If you ask they usually will. The problem is when you get an idiot like my nephew who thinks they already know everything there is to know. I've made purchases where they don't even ask - all they care is that you pay and pass the check then let you walk right out. Sent from my SM-N915T using Tapatalk

Re: Should Training Be A Requirement For Carrying Concealed?
I know a lot of individuals don't thinking training should be required to carry a firearm since it is a right but I am not one of those. I personally think that there should be some type of basic safety and maintenance class required before you can purchase your first firearm and that a shop should ...

Re: Infidelity in a marriage
A marriage is a commitment. It's a damn shame that modern culture doesn't value the marriage commitment. It's a shame that modern culture doesn't value commitment in general, nor is it afraid of the consequences of not honoring same commitments. I have known my husband for 28 years and been married...

Re: Possible Stolen Valor - Taking Advantage of My Daughter
Certainly sounds like he is still married and probably not seperated or has a gew other girlfriends on the side. I would start by checking to see if he's ever been convicted of anything on the State Courts site (you may need to search multiple counties). Not sure how old your daughter is but one day...

Re: Great Ammo web site.
I have gotten a lot of ammo from Freedom Munitions. First time orders are free and they have a lot of sales and offers of free shipping. They don't do 22s. Actually they recently started carrying 22lr. I received an email regarding it about 2 weeks ago. Haven't looked to see how much they charge fo...

Re: I think I have a problem...
I'm the same way. I have about 1500 rnds of 9 then went to the range and immediately ordered another 500 to replenish my stock. I haven't had the time yet to stock up on 45 but have slowly started buying the 100 rnd boxes when Walmart has them on sale, need to place an online order for some soon. Se...

Re: CCP for purchasing a firearm in VA?
I would have thought that an officer would keep 2 forms of ID on him, at least at work. Aside from his drivers license, I would have thought that he might have his DCJS license on him. Or do LEO in VA not carry a DCJS license? [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png ...

Search for Mom Baltimore Riots and there will be tons of results. CNN has it on their site.

Re: Bal'more
It's the same Traveling Protest Show that brought the outrage to Ferguson. They roll into town and use social media to rile up the local yoots, then slip outta town once everything is ablaze. No doubt Al Sharpton and crew are boarding the private jet to B-More as we speak. This will likely move tow...

Re: Visiting VA but I have questions.
Leaving it in your car is fine if you're not concerned about possible theft. As for the 10 round mag that is for if you do not have a concealed permit for most of the northern counties in the state. Since you have a permit you should be good to go. As others have mentioned you're good in VA but be c...

Re: Background Checks/IDs
I know this is an OLD thread (I read it for the info anyways). I have one question. What does the state you are born in have to do with the background check for purchasing a firearm? You don't have to be born in the US to make a purchase. Both times I have purchased firearms (one handgun, one shotgu...

If your CHP address does not match your DL be sure to have the change of address card from the DMV as well.

Re: Loudoun County deer hunting: What's legal?
The second is saying it is not legal unless you are hunting in an area that is 50 acres or larger. The way I read it is they are legal but you must be on a parcel of 50 acres or more, if it is less then it is illegal. Of course I'm not a lawyer and they may interpret it differently.

Re: Cell phone Apps for Gun laws
I have Legal Heat and have been very happy with it. They seem to be updating it constantly so the newest laws are up to date. They also will note if there is a major law pending which can have an effect on current carry laws. This app is very straight forward and easy to use without a ton of extra s...

I'd probably make a point of walking by her and make sure to say "hi, how you doing today?". This article looks like something a friend of mine would write. She's completely paranoid about anyone except for LE or the military carrying/owning any type of weapons, especially guns. Also, as a...

Re: Elite shooting in Gainesville
I need to get out there this weekend. Not sure if I'll get a membership (it's very tempting though from the reports on here), mainly want to check it out. I'm already a member at SEG and am hoping that some of their members will move ESS. From my home I think the distance is a toss up (live in Annan...
