Re: Carry under legal BAC?

Just the way I read it. Either way the whole situation is easily avoided by just not drinking while carrying. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png I refuse to allow myself to become intoxicated, and with rare exceptions I don't drink in bars anymore, but I do enjo...

Re: A video message from Ken Cuccinelli

I'd like to see Sarvis win. Thank goodness we live in Virginia where we have two pro-gun candidates and one anti-gun; not the other around. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png I'd love to see that too, but it ain't likely. It's disturbing to me that McAuliffe, a ...

Re: OC question

This thread is a perfect example of why I recommend a CHP for anyone that can get one. You can't trust common sense to play a part in the interpretation of the law. All of us would agree that simply sitting in the car is in no way an attempt to conceal a weapon. However, many people worry about the ...

Re: OC question

How is a seat belt blocking it is different from sitting against the wall in a booth at McDonald's? An object may be blocking it's view, but the weapon is still openly carried on your person.

Re: Carrying halfway concealed

Yup, what ShotgunBlast said. IANAL, but If you have a CHP, you are covered for OC, CC both, so you're good to go. I carry semi-concealed often. I toss an open Hawaiian shirt over a t-shirt most of the time, so I'm sure the breeze exposes my sidearm sometimes.

Re: An OCer at Walmart (Midlothian) this morning

I've open carried many times, and see it fairly often. The only time I've ever been bothered by someone OCing was when I was walking behind a guy with his .45 in a horizontal shoulder holster. It's never a good feeling to see a gun barrel pointed at your chest. Actually, I feel the same with CC in a...

Re: Will the real Ashton Kutcher please stand up!

Usually, I try not to read what celebs have to say so that I can still enjoy their movies, music, or whatever, but I'm glad I clicked on this. Sounds like studying up on Steve Jobs made an impression on the guy. This moment of intelligence probably wont last for Ashton, but hopefully some of those k...

Re: Faux racism rears its ugly head again...............

If the woman did think she couldn't afford it because of her race, who could blame her. The media is always telling us that blacks are second class citizens. If they manage to not get shot for simply walking down the street, they can't find a decent job. They can't even pass classes in school becaus...

Well, they've put it together in a nice neat package, now all we need is a Congress with the testicular fortitude to actually do something with it...so it's going nowhere.

Like others have said, you should be ok, but unless there is a reason why you would be disqualified, I'd rectify the situation completely and just get a CHP.

Re: Conceal and Carry on Private Property

This is where I fully support "Don't Ask, Don't Tell". I don't ask permission and I generally don't look for signage, and if I'm concealing properly, I'm the only one who knows. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. However, if the property owner tells you they don't allow firearms, failure to lea...

Dubya was supposedly stupid too, yet both he and Obama were two-termers. So, who's really dumb? Them or the people that hire them to the job? What choice have we had? We keep getting the choice of liberal and slightly less liberal. If all the people who said they liked Ron Paul but he couldn't win,...

The process and point of a state saying to the federal guv'mint, "Get out, take your money, and leave us alone" would be a turning point. BECAUSE, in affect, it's saying "We're not seceding, but we're just 'friends', not 'lovers' anymore, because I'm tired of getting screwed without ...
