I will hopefully be attending an event being held on the same day in firearms-friendly Virginia just opposite the Potomac from the criminal district.

We are hoping to attract some attention of our own, openly armed and peacefully resistant... as long as they allow us.

** EDIT (allingeneral) ** Link removed.
Don't Hijack the 2AM thread with your own link to an event that occurs the same day. We tend to lean away from "Musters" here and I think we've discussed that fact at length a couple of times.

Hello everyone. My name is Chris Richardson and I have taken over as State Coordinator for Leyla Myers.

The march is scheduled for April 12th, 2010 from 2-3pm. It will be held on the grounds of the state capital in Richmond, VA. Open carry as well as concealed carry (with a permit) is perfect legal and acceptable.

As of right now we have VA Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, Virginia Citizen's Defense League President Phil Van Cleave, and Leyla Myers speaking at the event. We are working on some others but they are not 100% confirmed at this point.

For more information check out http://www.secondamendmentmarch.com/virginia. You are welcome to contact me at crichardson@secondamendmentmarch.com or call me at 703.945.2588.

The march in DC will be a week following the VA march. It will be on April 19th, 2010 from about 10-5pm at the Washington Monument in Washington DC. There are many great speakers and should be a lot of fun. NO. You can not carry there. But rather than refuse to attend because of this realize that this is exactly what the march is fighting to change. It WILL be a peaceful and law abiding march. We do not condone any illegal possession within DC limits.

For more information on the DC march please visit http://www.secondamendmentmarch.com.

Thanks!
Chris

If any of you are wondering how you can help this cause (which benefits us ALL) it would be really helpful if you could support us, promote us and remember us with one of our really cool looking tshirts or hooded sweatshirts.

Tshirt: $12
Hooded Sweatshirt: $22

I also have one more 4 Day Training Certificates from Front Sight. This is a premium training program that normally sells for $2000 but because these were donated to us by Front Sight at no charge and the march is only two weeks away...I need to get rid of them. They are selling on our website for $199 each. I'll let mine go for $150 if you respond in the next couple of days.

Thanks!!
