Texas Open Carry law - Whataburger does not

Post by wittmeba »

Texas just passed an Open Carry law. Whataburger does not agree. (title and spelling corrected).

And they're allowed to do so.

I'm allowed to not go there. (shrugs) Chipotle, Buffalo Wild Wings, Olive Garden, and Target. Just sayin'.

Yep, it's still a semi-free country. I'll just enjoy my freedom to get a fat-laden greasy cheeseburger somewhere else. Or not.

What's interesting is that people are quick to say business owners have the right to tell certain people they can't come in, but they don't have the right to tell other certain people they can't come in.

A big guy was carrying yesterday at BJs. Nobody seems to care, but I had to explain to my daughter who asked "why?".

It's "Whataburger." Whataburger is in Texas. "What-a-burger" is a completely different chain with origins in SE Virginia and outlets in the Carolinas.

I've been meaning to stop into a Whataburger on one of my many occasions to be riding through Texas.

Now, I will not. No big deal to me.

Yeah...pick and choose as long as it is against guns and not others.

So, what if a guy couple is OC'ing AR's while shoping for a wedding caterer and a photographer at the same time? That should make Libs heads explode.
