Count me in for 1, I guess the start time will be announced after the location is fixed.

Would you mind posting your headcount here-http://vagunforum.net/meet-and-greet/vg ... t1640.html
It'll be easier to keep track of the number showing up. We'd hate to miss anyone.

The Fredericksburg area is perfect for me since I am at Mary Washington University (see sn!). The 19th is best for me b/c my 21st birthday is only a few days before so if its any earlier I wont be able to carry
. Hopefully it works in my favor!

Shelter #6 is already booked for the 19th of September. How do people feel about doing it the following weekend - September 26th?

Re: OC Picnic Discussion
In the interest of time and getting the shelter booked, I went ahead and booked for the 26th of September. The shelter is paid for and we have it from 10am to 6pm. I will provide more information in a separate post soon regarding specifics for when to arrive and what to bring.
I hope to see you there!

Rick, Think you might be able to bring some "T" shirts so we can pay cash?
Calendar check shows this is presently a good date for me. I'm looking forward to it.

I am working the Fishersville gun show for the VCDL that day and it is 2½ hrs from here, I just don't see us making it.

I'm ok with that. Young will have to move her day off but that should not be a problem.allingeneral wrote:In the interest of time and getting the shelter booked, I went ahead and booked for the 26th of September. The Staunton Shoot and Greet is 27 September. Can we move that out a couple weeks say to mid late October or will that run into hunting season?

Shouldn't affect hunting if it's held on a Sunday, I don't believe they've changed the law to allow hunting on Sundays yet. If it's on a Saturday the only thing is should affect in October is small game or bow hunting for deer.zephyp wrote:The Staunton Shoot and Greet is 27 September. Re: OC Picnic Discussion
A Sunday would be ok with me. Weekends are the only time I get to do chores other than work and I do want to make the next shoot and greet. Having 2 functions back to back like this would make it difficult for many to attend both I think - especially considering the drive for some of us northerners.

What are you suggesting we move to October - the Staunton event or the picnic?zephyp wrote:I'm ok with that. Are we all pitching in to help cover the cost of the park rental? I'd like to.
