Re: Petition to Convict Hillary Clinton. Sign Please

In case anyone was wondering how this turned out. No surprise here. 246k signatures, and the response: "A response to your petition Thank you for signing this We the People petition. We decline to comment on the specific request raised in the petition, which falls outside the scope of the We th...

New summer carry

The Talo edition is nice, love the sights on it. I tried to find Ameriglo ProGlo UC sight sets for my 19 after seeing them on the Talo 43... no luck and went with trijicon HDs. Hope it shoots
well for you!!!

A real common sense bill. I really hope to see this go somewhere, but I have no hopes.

Re: Picked up My Rock Island 1911 Today

I really like the 22tcm and RIA got it right with the 9mm conversion. I shot my uncles early production TCM, and want one for my own, LGS got one in, but it is the target FS model, and I want the smaller one to make it a viable CC option.

Re: Glock 30 versus 30S

I'll give you some feedback Vince. I have a 30S and carry it as my primary with a 9 round mag +1 with just a t-shirt, or 10+1 with a button up over it. The pistol is accurate, carries well for me, but is a little snappy for me as the round count climbs above 100 at the range. The 30 is slightly wide...

Re: Talk me into reloading

What is your setup? Is it a progressive or single stage. I wouldn't load 9mm on a single... the cost to time savings just isn't there unless the shelves are empty. I question why I load 9mm on my progressive, but I can crank out some rounds pretty fast, and already keep powder on hand for other cali...

Re: Glock 43: Single Stack 9mm

I like Glocks in a utilitarian sense, and have 3 of them in rotation. I tried a G42 last year and was rather disappointed. My LGS took it back in on trade for a Kahr PM9 that has never FTF OR FTE. I like it, and it or a G26 has been my summer carry. However, I prefer the glock trigger... probably ju...

Re: What caliber for my wife?

A little story: I have a range out back, reload, etc. My wife would come out and shoot 22lr w/ a Ruger Standard. She had a 38spcl revolver J frame she hated. I was shooting the G26 a bunch and she asked to shoot it, to much for her she says. Wants her own. She picks out a Bodyguard 380, shoots it a ...

Firearm Unfriendly Businesses in Virginia

What recently bothered me is the Veterans Administration has a sign at all entrances prohibiting any weapons on their premises. So does this mean you can't park your car in their lot if you leave your gun in your vehicle? ruh roh. It is federal property after all, so I expected this, but Richmond a...

Re: You want a new vehicle why?

shrug, I bought a new ram 2500 sat w/ diesel. activated my Uconnect also. They told me they could track it, but I know I could disable it if I wanted to. Everything is drive by wire vs cable nowadays, even Harley M/Cs. I shopped 2 years and almost bought a manual 2500, but tired of shifting quickly ...
