Re: What Is A Good Hollow Point Ammo?
I use Federal 135 grain hydrashock in my Glock 26. I prefer the Federal brand. I feel as long as you don't use cheap quality ammo (and you know who you are!) you should be fine.

Re: got asked for my papers today
[quote="Mindflayer"]I was stopped at 0400 once driving home from work by a Herndon police officer. He first approached me and spoke to me in Spanish. I told him I only spoke English (I am half-Asian, not Latino). This part is so funny! The leo assumed you were Latino! That's hilarious and ...

Re: got asked for my papers today
Why get angry over this? You're supposed to tell them right off that you have a CCW even though they already know it when they run your license plate. I would love to go through a checkpoint and proudly show an officer my CCW. I don't have any problems with it. Officers put their lives on the line e...

Re: Woman shot in the butt with .45 at Bass Pro Shop
Okay kids. Once again let''s go over the 3 basic safety rules when handling a gun. 1. Point firearm in safe direction 2. Make sure gun is unloaded. 3. Keep your finger OFF the trigger. My God. How do people become so ignorant? Remember humans control guns. Not metal boxes. Actually this act of stupi...

Just remember that someone can get other types of information at the courthouse like your address. Is nothing sacred anymore?

Re: man accidentally shot himself
Once again somebody didn't follow the 3 rules of safety when handling a firearm.
1. Make sure gun is unloaded
2. Keep finger off the trigger
3. Point firearm in a safe direction
He got cocky while playing with his laser sights.

Re: In Review: Greentop Sporting Goods & DeGoff's
Some days Greentop is crowded and there aren't many clerks to wait on customers but they are the friendliest and most knowledgeable staff I have met so I have to stand up for them. The reason why it's so crowded is because it's the first choice for many people interested in firearms. I have NEVER be...

Something is wrong with these parents and the monster kid. I hope they throw the book at the parents as well as the kid. In reality nothing will happen because most people think animals lives are not valuable or important. Let us not forget you can kick someone when they're down but you better watch...

I can also recommend some good books that address this as well as many other topics needed to make wise handgun and ammo choices. "Tactical Pistol Shooting" By Erik Lawrence "The Concealed Handgun Manual" By Chris Bird "Essential Guide to Handguns" By Stephen R. Remente...

Has anyone ever used the DPM Multi-Spring Recoil Reducer? Just wondering if it made a noticeable difference or is it just hype. Thanks.

Re: Woman kills intruder - 911 call
That was so scary. I think this woman did the right thing and the audio proves she waited as long as she could before shooting him.Why did it take police so long to get there? This is a classic example of Reasonable Man Theory. Anyone else would have done the same thing. I pray she will recover.

That is a great choice for concealed carry. If you're looking for a small size consider the Kahr PM9 or 40, or the Glock 26. All are very reliable. Good luck on your choice.

LaserLyte Lt-Pro
I'm thinking about buying the LaserLyte LT-Pro which is a laser that lights up on a target after you have aimed and dry fired to show the accuracy of where your round would have hit on a target. Anybody have or seen one? They'e $100 online. I think it's a bit expensive but an interesting teaching to...
