Hey VGOF's,

Just wanted to introduce myself first, my name is Edwin Torres. I'm 21 and currently a student at George Mason University and also work for the fed govt. I'm not new to forums; I'm a member on a various types of forums. I mainly spend my time on Audi and paintball forums though. I'm completely new to firearms and am looking to purchase a few sometime soon. I've been very interested in purchasing an AR-15 and a handgun. (AR-15 maybe it's an overplayed firearm? but I would like to purchase one anyways haha) I found this site about two days ago, and the members here are very helpful in threads that I have read.

I look forward to expanding my knowledge and receiving helpful advice and insight from fellow VGOF members.

wbtrunx- I own a Tippmann X7 and 98 custom. Recently sold my Tipp. A-5. As you can see I'm loyal to Tippmann haha..

Hi Edwin! Welcome to the world of gun education. Everyone that participates is willing to answer questions to the best of their knowledge and will be glad to offer opinions and laughs as well.
I have thoroughly enjoyed throwing a question out and seeing what I get back. I'm glad I joined and you will too.
Since this is new to you I recommend contacting Proactive Shooters ,who advertise on this forum, for classes on obtaining your CCW permit, safety, and range classes. They're fabulous people who have a lot to offer.
