Re: Cost for Annual Membership at Ranges in Richmond
FMJ only? So no HP/SP? I guess that means no practicing with your self defense/home defense ammo, or sighting in your hunting rifle. Pretty bizarre restriction, actually. Dominion on Hull St has the same rule, except you have to buy your FMJ ammo from them directly, whereas Colonial you can BYO.

Re: Cost for Annual Membership at Ranges in Richmond
I heard you have to shoot theirs, plus at $500 yr + taking their safety course its kinda BS Sent from my HTC Glacier using Tapatalk I just confirmed that you are able to bring your own ammo. It's only $100 initiation and then $35/month, but that incudes no range fees. If you shoot 3-4 times a month...

Re: Cost for Annual Membership at Ranges in Richmond
I'm pretty sure Colonial is going to allow you to bring your own ammo, so that should help curb some of the costs.
Plus they have some other perks like quick clean service, firearm storage, FFL transfers, etc.

I've had both the Crossbreed and the Comp-Tac Minotaur. I prefer the looks of the Comp-Tac but the fit/finish/feel of the Crossbreed.

It will be both members and public. Largest in the nation. Here's a link to a video about it.

Another vote for crossbreed here. My P238 disappears with the Crossbreed Mini-Tuck.

I asked about this and was told that rezoning wasn't necessary.Diomed wrote:I'll believe it when I see it.
Henrico's Board of Supervisors allowing a public range in their county? Preposterous.

i use the crossbreed minituck as well. The P238 really disappears with it. I like the grips, going to check out what other options he has!

Re: Finally fired my Sig Sauer P238 Saturday..........
I love my P238. The only thing I wish they would do is make a set of grips with the laser housed in the grip itself, something like the one in the picture below. The current laser options mount in front of the trigger guard, adding some bulk and requiring new holsters. http://www.crimsontrace.com/Po...

New Range in Richmond
Be on the lookout for a new range to be opening up on Broad Street (near horsepen) sometime within the next year. This will be a LARGE range, complete with a "tactical range" in the basement. Pretty stoked about this news.
No, I can not say where I heard about this.

S&W also released a 380 semi alongside this new revolver, the Bodyguard 380. Any thoughts on this little guy?

Re: Submit Question for Va's Governor race
A couple of the disputed pics from 9/12. Notice anything familiar about the first one? Looks like obama's inauguration only all the trees are nice and green... :pistol: FWIW, that first photo is NOT authentic. It does not include the National Museum of the American Indian, a building located at the...

removed the original since it wouldn't let me edit and reposted the revised version. Sorry for the misspellings and such in the previous one. I was using friends laptop whose browser lacked spell check. So that, combined with the Sunday football beers I've had resulted in the previous question. Plea...
