Looking for a Holster reccomendation
Looking for a Holster reccomendation
Hi, as you all know I just got a new P220. I am looking for good holster suggestions. I have an NTAC for my glock 23 I love, but it took well over a month past the original promise date and the P220 is not one of their standard offerings. So what brands/ manufacturers would you suggest?
Re: Looking for a Holster reccomendation
what are you looking for? Inside or outside the waistband? Kydex? Leather? Where on your hip do you carry? (Behind centerline, cross-draw, etc?)

behind centerline
I like the NTAC kydex so I would't be opposed to another like that. OWB is fine
Re: Looking for a Holster reccomendation
I'm a big fan of the Tucker Gunleathers's "The Answer" line of holsters. http://tuckergunleather.com/answeriwbs.html
Leather backed, kydex frame. Kydex can be leather lined (my favorite). Once the leather breaks in and conforms to your body the gun all but disappears.
Another favorite is the Silent Thunder line by Garrett Industries. http://garrettindustries.mybigcommerce. ... -holsters/
Turn around times are usually 3-4 weeks on average. I have several of each brand, and they've all held up remarkably well.

I have one of their paddle holsters and love it.
Their production time is 7 days right now and is very accurate.

I've had both the Crossbreed and the Comp-Tac Minotaur. I prefer the looks of the Comp-Tac but the fit/finish/feel of the Crossbreed.

For OWB, I'm really loving my crown holster: http://www.crownholsters.com/store/
They carry the p220 w/ rail and have great fit and finish! Give them a look.
