Re: What kind of muzzleloader/black powder firearms do you have?

I have a 36 cal. Navy Colt (confederate) which I only use for at CW reenactments. Mainly I work on a field howitzer during a reenactment. Colt keeps those pesky infantry away!!

I would be real interested. It would have a place right next to my NRA decal on the back of my van. RXTROLL

Re: What was your "find" at the Chantilly show?

Again had a great time. We picked up 4 clips for our pistols (this includes the new one we bought). Got a Taurus Millenum 9mm fronm Dark Sun. Also picked up some speed loaders for our revolvers at a good price. Of course also got some ammo early on Saturday. Basically $16/box (50 rounds). we will do...

Re: Sen.Warners response

Yup I got the same reply from Warner. at least he addressed what I had sent him. Webb's response was a very generic not really addressing what I had requested. well at least he responded!!!

Re: Nations Gun Show Dulles Expo Center July 24-26

It was a great show(s). Especially thanks to the shuttle between the halls. Julie and I got there at 0815 Saturday morning and I expected the line to be really long, but wasn't like Richmond (showplace). A lot of vendors and yes a lot of walking. We purchased a new pistol and ammo as well as other c...

Holster needs

Any recommendations on a shoulder holster for a Taurus Model 82 revolver 38 special. Need shoulder holster because of back issues (no belt).

Re: Ruger LCR - Lightweight Compact Revolver

My wife bought a Ruger LCR and it was her first handgun. She really enjoys shooting it as for me I can't stand it. Basically for me it is a grip thing where for her it fits her hand great and she is becoming quite proficient with it.

Re: Weaver Stance

Thank you all very much. We shall be trying this at our next venture to our shooting range. BTW, we turn in our concealed carry paperwork today here in York County and then off to the gun show tomorrow in Richmond.
Again, thanks

Weaver Stance

Greetings All,
In regards to this stance, at the "aim" position, I have been told to have my arms straight. But now I understand they should be slightly bent. Is it just a personal comfort thing?

Newbie From Yorktown

Greetings All,
Well, finished up our Concealed Carry Course last sunday. My wife got her revolver, but initially I'm looking at a shotgun and then a medium frame 38 revolver. Anyway we will be at Richnond this weekend. Just looking, though!!!
