Re: TAC-21 MOD1

It is heavy, but weight helps with the recoil. Would not want to do rifle drills with it.

We have SCAR-H's and ACR's where I work. I am not a fan. Big, Clunky, personally if you are looking for a 5.56mm just trick out a AR-15 you will get more bang for your buck, as well as the look you want.

Seriously considering that reload press. Was looking at a nice Dillion progressive press with all the bells and whistles.

Re: Newest build

.308, Only composit is the buttstock, the rest of the chassis is aluminum. It's a #@$@# tackdriver. Just wish .308 was not a buck a bullet. I don't have a video but there is one on Brownells, TAC-21.

Re: Richmond, Spring 2012, Meet-n-Greet

You could try contacting G4SITI in Westpoint. They may let you do a couple of range rentals if they are not training. Shooters would most likely have to sign waivers, and you would need a few RSO's. Check them out. The have two ranges that can go from 5 to 200 yards up to .50 bmg. Plus another cover...

Re: Scope for my AR15

I use a Vortex SPARC on my SBR it runs about $200.00. Also run a Eotech 512 and 3x Magnifyer on my other AR, shop around enough you can find the set for about $800.00.

No point in buying a good rifle if you go cheap on the sight. :machinegun:

Anyone have some suggestions for some cheap .308 to run through my Rem 700 for practice. Anyone out there used silver or brown bear .308?

Re: Next Gun(s)

You simply can't go wrong with a Rem 700. The commercial on their web-site claims it is the most accurate rifle there is straight out of the box. They were not kidding. Just bought a Rem 700 sps Tact and mounted a Millot 5-24 power scope on it. It is a Tack-driver, if only the trigger actuator was a...

If you are anywhere near Quantico, you could try Quantico Practical Shooters. I believe they have access to the USMC ranges there. Check out their web-site it shows what ranges they have available.
