WTB: Ruger Mini-14 Ranch
Looking for a Ruger Mini-14 Ranch. Action & Barrel in mechinically serviceable condition, cosmetically it can be ugly as dirt.
• factory magazines would be nice 10, 20 or 30 rounders.
• I don't care about the rest (sights, stock) they can be beat to hell, I'm changing them out anyway.

Another Satisfied Customer
My wife recently purchased a Bodyguard .380 @ the shop. She had been looking for a while when we came in to the shop. SHE asked to see the compact .380s they had to offer. The associate that worked with her showed her all the .380s in the shop and walked her through EACH ONE. Not once did she get th...

Re: WTB Threegun Semi-Auto Shotgun
Mossberg is coming out with a 3Gun version of the 930 (supposedly soon)
The SPX is perfect for IDPA DMG Enhanced Classes for IDPA Multigun it doesn't hold enough rounds.
Many people have taken 930 Waterfowls cut the barrel down to about 22" and re-threaded for chokes.

Re: Denied Purchase
The 30 day waiting period is for a newly issued VA ID/DL - not an address change for an existing VA ID/DL. I know, been there and done that. And a utility bill (not cell or pager) is perfectly acceptable. I'd take my business elsewhere if they refuse to follow the law. I would take my business elsw...

Re: Walther PPS
This has been my EDC since May of this year. The mag release is something you can get used to though. It is the same as release ont he HK pistols. The way I do it is with my middle finger helping my trigger finger push down on the lever. Depending on which mags you are using you might get bitten whe...

Saw a video clip of the owner when he laughed about the money he was making after Obama was elected. Said he voted for him (Obama). Haven't been back even though I have 3 free hours of range time. Joe I've been swept more times than I care to remember at this craphole AND the 'owner' v...

Re: Oklahoma Pharmacy Shooting
I would have done the same thing. I've seen too many stories on the news of someone getting shot once and living. "Living" and continuing to attack are two different things. Granted the guy coulda been faking and could have gone for another weapon, but since no other weapon was found on t...

Re: Oklahoma Pharmacy Shooting
Well I just watched the YouTube video of the O'Reilly - Ersland interview. I would agree that if I were in his shoes I would have shot either (or both) of the two punks in ski masks brandishing a gun if it were my store. No problems there. That's the extent to what I would have done the same thing a...

Re: Open carry on a motorcycle?
Your CHP covers you in all instances then on a bike. The only difference for a non-CHP holder in the instance of putting in the top case is that they are subject to interpretation by the Police officer. I know that in order to even transport through MD the gun has to be locked and "not within a...
