Re: Iraq war vet beaten by Micheal Brown supporters

"Michael Brown supporters", is that what we're calling lawless racist thugs nowadays?

Re: Obamacare creating gun registry?

No, I do not give birth to guns in my house. No. Oh, I thought you asked if I had guns in your house, it's completely incomprehensible why you would want to know if I had guns in my own house. No. I moved them prior to coming here, knowing you would ask. I'll move them all back when I get home. Or No

Re: Dont Execute Burglars

What a total debacle! Irrespective of any missing or misstated facts, his statements alone are completely ridiculous and are likely to mean he is convicted. I don't see how this is murder, but is at least manslaughter. This is why I'm saying that we can't judge this guy's actions. He will probably ...

Re: Dont Execute Burglars

Anybody consider that the guy may have been scared and in shock when he made those statements? I don't see anything about how and even if the burglers were armed. If somebody that I've shot "several times" still has a gun in their hand, they get shot some more! We don't have enough informa...

Re: Just some rambling

The biggest problem in the jobs market now is that a person would have to take a pay cut to take a job. I still say that no government check should made out to an individual unless it's for product or services rendered to the country.

Re: Got My Ruger 10/22... Now What?

25 round magazines are a "REQUIREMENT" because you'll spend all day reloading 10 round mags. Not to be arguementative, but that depends on what you do with the gun. If you're squirrel hunting, you probably won't shoot ten rounds in a day. If you're plinking you could shoot a few hundred. ...

Re: Found a way to get rid of a mud wasp nest

Yep, yellow jackets, that's what I thought you were talking about. They're some nasty characters. Mud wasps, southern: mud daubers, are solid black and skinny. They build tubelike mud structures under eaves, etc. As far as I know, mud daubers don't sting.

Re: Got My Ruger 10/22... Now What?

GeneFrenkle gave some really good advice. The modifications, if any, that you need to do to your rifle depend entirely on what you use your rifle to accomplish. There are really good reasons NOT to want a two pound trigger on a hunting rifle that's used in the brush. The same goes for a 25 round mag...

I would check with WA to see if your permit is still valid. Since it's a resident permit and you're no longer a resident, it's possible that it's no longer a valid permit.

Re: Long guns in vehicle?

Thanks Proshooter. Does that mean that all the county regs had to be republished after the effective date of the 15.2-915 revision? 15.2-915 (B) states that all the locality regs prior to the effective date are invalid. Have the counties done so, as far as you know? I still think it's a way for the ...

Re: Long guns in vehicle?

I just don't get how localities get by the preemption law by using hunting regulations. If it directly relates to firearms, it seem that the state law should take precedence. The state doesn't restrict long gun transportation, so how can the localities?

It's just my opinion, but I doubt if ten percent of the U.S. population has ever felt hunger. I'm not talking about "I'm starving, let's go to McDonald's", I'm talking about "I haven't had anything to eat in five days, that bug is looking pretty good". Knowledge of what plants ca...
