Re: WTB Mosin Nagant

Thanks. I plan to hit the show on the 21st looking for one. Glad to hear they were $80-100 at the Salem show. That is the price I would like to find.

And if I can't find one at the show, that C&R site looks like they have a good price. Thanks.

What if you have guns, and use them to shoot the dolls?

Update, I did shoot it. I enjoyed shooting it and I am glad I did. I probably will again on occasion. Thanks again for the encouragement.

Re: Which branch of the armed Forces has the toughest training?

I don't think broken legs is an accurate way to test the toughest training. If one place has systems set up to prevent injury so they are not wasting money breaking its recruits that does not mean they are not "tough" I also do not think marksmanship training is a good gauge either. BRM wa...

Re: Medical marijuana users fight for gun rights

FYI, I do not agree with the logic being used by the sheriff in court. He is saying that due to federal law saying you can't own a gun if you are a drug abuser he should not issue a CC permit. He is over stepping his authority making the call that she should not own a gun if she has not been convict...

Re: Medical marijuana users fight for gun rights

Tweaker, I never said that anyone should not have the right to bear arms. Nobody is saying that she does not have TRTBA. They just denied her a CC permit. You also mis-understand my intent. I never said pot was an evil plant, or that i have any problem with it, but can you honestly say that you woul...

Re: Medical marijuana users fight for gun rights

OK, I don't know how to do the quote thing, Her right to keep and bear arms is not being infringed. Just the option of carrying concealed. I do not know of any court ruling that says CC is a guaranteed right under the 2nd amendment, but I have not researched it. If someone can find an applicable rul...

Yeah, but I had not seen it here so I thought I would post it. I'll probably get flak for it making fun of marines and all, but hey its all good.

Re: Medical marijuana users fight for gun rights

I have been thinking about this since I heard it on the news this morning, and I think I have worked out my opinion on this. Owning and/or carrying a gun is a right. No ifs ands or buts. Concealed carry is a privilege. Something that can be taken away if you do not fit into a certain criteria. Marij...

Re: A Place To Tell Jokes

A platoon of marines was out on a training exercise when they come upon a paratrooper decked out in his maroon beret standing on a hill top. The paratrooper seeing them arrogantly waves his arm and flips them off. The marine LT quickly orders on of his fire teams to go kick his airborne @$$. As the ...

Re: Who will do the FFL for an online Purchase

As someone who has used both on an M4, I prefer the red dot (aimpoint) to the holographic. No problem reaching out to 300 meters on a man-size target with the aimpoint and it shines at close in. For the distance shots turn it on the lowest level that you can see it, the more intense the dot the easi...

Tweaker, there were a lot of big words in there, we aren't but humble pirates....

I very much enjoyed your breakdown. I have never heard it put that way but it makes perfect sense. I applaud your analysis.

Re: George Soros rewriting the US Constitution

While I would have never really considered home ownership and food a "right" before, I guess on second thought it should be a right, as the idea of "freedom" is no consolation when you're homeless and hungry. I consider freedom not a consolation, but the thing to be given up las...

Ok, thanks for the reassurance everyone. I am going to the range soon and I will take it and play then. :pistol: :pistol: :pistol: I think my Dad will want me to enjoy it. Even if I don't shoot it often and he did give me 2 boxes of ammo with it. He lives in Maine so I won't be able to go with him s...

M9 Enduring Freedom unfired poll.

I have a question for those on here. When I came home from Afghanistan my father gave me an M9 Operation Enduring Freedom pistol. He got it for me at an auction while I was there and it was handed to him by the at the time VP of the NRA. I have not fired this weapon and I am wondering if I should. O...
