Re: penalty for carrying?

If you're carrying concealed in church, then it shouldn't be known that you're carrying. If an occasion arises that requires you to draw your gun, then it should be obvious that you have "good and sufficient" reason. So unless you're one of the types that can't keep your own business to y...

Re: penalty for carrying?

there are various places you're "not supposed to" carry a gun. a church while services are being held how about at church with preachers permission, with the preacher & several other members usually carrying as well. rural location, & services start at 7pm & usually ending tow...

Re: Target practice is scaring the "urbanites"

Maybe if the urbanites stayed in their cozy little condos within city limits they wouldn't have to worry about being skeered by us backwards, inbred, slow-talking country folk - just doing what we've been doing for over 400 years... But no, they want to build their big houses on postage-stamp parce...

as for the 67 Camaro, there is a guy roughly 10 miles from me that has one, original paint, small block, under 40,XXX original miles, I forget the engine size, it has bench seat, teal inside & out, coluum shift automatic. no rust, quite a beauty. probably could be bought? he is concerned about d...

Re: Uninsured Cars Off The Road

there are quite a few imaginative ways around the system. I have seen many people beat the system. growing up, one of my friends bought $100 junkers to drive, he would go to junkyard, pick up some dead tags, & then look for a fresh wrecked car & remove the stickers from tags, if he took tags...

have you looked into owning a Medusa? it was a revolver pistol designed to shoot multiple calibers, 30 different I think.

No I don't own one. but I think they are neat. but the extractor is fragile from what I have read.

This was my first online dealings with anyone here & it was great.

No problems, with transaction, meeting, & very happy with the Mossberg 590. I tested it out today.

Thank you,

Re: SHTF - caliber and platform discussion

my choices are probably unusual. for a rifle I would choose a plain & simple lever action 30-30 preferably a D-ring easily reloaded, but have to carry rounds loose. for pistol I would choose a Glock 9mm. then a 22 plinker, like a ruger mark 1 a 22 rifle like the winchester model 190 & 290 co...

when I went to school as well as college for 8 years, many students carried guns, but no ccw, but carried just the same, as well as teachers. I remember a teacher asking me to go get their gun when they forgot to remove it from a car & didnt want to risk it being stolen while it was being worked...

around where I live, there were under the counter dealers for many years, & others that sold guns at flea markets for years without license, 20+ years, the dealers have since retired or gone out of business, & the BATF shut down the flea market in the last 2 years. but everyone knew if you w...

Re: situation with neighbors...

when I lived at my wifes place, one of the neighbors brought in a pit bull, well it attacked one of our dogs, it picked the dog up & was shaking by throat, it punctured its neck, didnt do much to our dog, just enough to make it bleed, I fired a shot in air from my tractor to scare the pit away f...

wtb 45 or 40 preferably, or 9mm as last resort

maybe a Glock? what do you have? FTF only preferably within an hour or 2 drive from Roanoke, will travel farther if I have to.

prefer a larger caliber, but will settle for a 9mm.

looking to spend no more than $400 less is always better.

Thank you,

well you need to collect for a few years, get to 125 guns, 100,000 + rounds of assorted ammo a multitude for most of the guns, & then decide to sell all your collection & ammo, get down to 5, & then think what did you do? why did you sell them all, & yes I even gave a couple away, 3 ...

Well said, Sarge. Pulling a trigger is easy. Living with the consequences for the rest of your life is altogether a horse of another color. As for that LEO, he'll get his. That kind usually self destruct. they hopefully probably already got their due, a few years ago there was a major bust & th...
