Re: Who needs a gun in downtown Norfolk?
Video recording device seems a little morbid, but might mean the difference between being a free man or thrown in jail for defending yourself. This work for you? http://m.wired.com/gadgets/miscellaneous/magazine/16-07/st_pistolcams Seems a little bulky....and pricey. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] ...

Re: Who needs a gun in downtown Norfolk?
I live in Virginia Beach, and from now on, I carry two spare mags. If they cops KNOW that these kids are out for trouble in these areas, why aren't they out in force putting a stop to it? To protect and serve huh? This right here is the reason more people need to carry. If the ones being attacked we...

Bringing a gun to a knife fight
Good story that brings those that carry into a good light. Too bad this isn't as big as the Trayvon story. http://www.abc4.com/content/news/top_stories/story/conceal-and-carry-stabbing-salt-lake-city-smiths/NDNrL1gxeE2rsRhrWCM9dQ.cspx [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobi...

Anyone else up at the match this week in Quantico? This is my command's first one, and so far it's been awesome! If anyone has any tips for the pistol course we could really use them!

Don't know why this never posted, but it was saved in Firefox on a broken(well, apparently not so broken) laptop. As far as the one on providence road. I'm not a fan of the guy. He might do good work, but I didn't appreciate the way he talked about what I wanted done. Asked him if he could do a sai...

Re: BACKPACKING: How to carry
As far as drop leg holsters go, I've carried a Beretta M9 in a few different drop legs. With all of them other than the Blackhawk Serpa dropleg platform, there was an issue with the weight of the gun pulling the holster and belt down making the whole rig uncomfortable.
Good luck!

Not sure what to do about a free float tube. I'm in between a Midwest Industries SS15, and a Troy Extreme Battle rail 13". Anyone got any experience with either of these? I'm going to be running some basic back up sights, and a Nikon M-223 on it. I don't need 15 inches of rail space, but it sur...

Re: Help! M&P vs 24/7 OSS
Got a chance to handle both and both feel good, the Taurus feels a little heavier though. I'm leaning a little further towards the M&P right now. Thanks for the advice guys, and I'll look into other holster options also. [ Post made via Mobile Device ] http://vagunforum.net/images/mobile.png

Help! M&P vs 24/7 OSS
I'm in the market for a new pistol, and these are the two that I've narrowed it down to. This isn't for home defense or concealed carry. I'm just looking for something fun to maybe do competition with. :packin: 24/7  : -$350ish out the door on consignment at the local gun shop -17 round ma...

Re: Kydex Holster
Secondary question:
Are there any other places to do 3 gun shoots? or even just Carbine and pistol shoots around this area? I've already looked into Tidewater 3 gun, and I'm hoping to be ready to participate in their March shoot.

Re: Kydex Holster
Thanks for the help guys. I'll stop by Blackhawk sometime this week and see if they have anything. I also talked to Blade Tech, they said they'd be able to make one for me. Unfortunately the price tag for something that I want is pretty high. Roughly 140 bucks shipped! How do these companies sleep a...
