WTB: Benelli M4 Shotgun

Howdy gang:

I would like to buy a Benelli M4, preferably new. I am in Arlington VA. I have some excess ammo, an M11/9 machinegun, and some other stuff that I would consider getting rid of depending on the scope of the deal or just a plain old purchase is fine also of course. Thanks!

Re: Current "wait"

I have had 6 or 7 Form 1s and Form 4s come back in the last few months and all of them were 6 months mailbox to mailbox, +/- 2 weeks. The 5320.20s are coming back in a couple weeks though.

Re: Sharpshooters

I like SharpShooters. I picked up a can from them on Sunday and it was bizarre to see it all so quiet and empty of people due to the range renovation/improvement going on. They advised they are set to re-open the range in the next two weeks or so, can't remember the exact date. To shoot rifle calibe...

Re: BBQ and Greet 8/4/12, 3pm @ The Cove

This sounds like great fun! It will be just me for now. I will bring something healthy like a big salad as well as machineguns in .223/5.56, .45, 9mm. and 380. Bring your own ammo in these calibers and you are more than welcome to burn it up real fast. Maybe JakeisCrazy will be able to update his pi...

Re: Cove campout shootout april 14-15

Count me in! I have not been camping/shooting for far too long. And I am bringing most of my NFA toys. Wife may or may not join me. I'd be happy to set up and run and score an IPSC type stage that can be shot with pistol/carbine/subgun. We are gonna need some Tannerite also! All this assumes a dry w...

Found a big arrow head in my buck from last Friday!

Arrowed a nice little 8 Ptr last Friday am in Chantilly, VA and while skinning him out, discovered a big ass arrowhead stuck on the inside of one of his rear legs, right near the tarsal gland. It was angled steeply downward in the leg and I am guessing it was the result of a steep treestand shot gon...

Re: Butcher

I do my own steaks and hamburger but I use Chuck's Butcher shop in Maryland to do all my sausage/jerky processing and to accept my HFTH donations. Matt is a good guy. http://www.chucksbutchershop.com/ They do amazing work. I bet I have had a couple dozen deer through there at this point, never a bad...

Re: Fired Up for a Shoot and Greet

Twice I have had to prove to the staffer running the range that the steel cased ammo I was shooting in my SMGs was NOT using steel jacketed bullets. The magnet was attracted to the steel case and so they were objecting. That is until I disassembled a cartridge with the puller on the spot and proved ...

Re: Fired Up for a Shoot and Greet

Is it really handguns only ?? We are planning on coming with a couple of our SAR-XV models, incluing some class III goodness (LEO machine guns and suppressors). It isn't handguns only. It is handgun calibers only. Plenty of folks shoot pistol caliber subguns and pistol caliber rifles, SBRs etc. the...

Re: Submit Form 1 & Form 4 together or separate?

Bryan: You submit your Form 1 to ATF in Martinsburg, WV. Just as it says in the instructions and at the top of the form. Your Form 4 package goes to the ATF "Lock Box" in Atlanta, GA, where they strip and deposit the payment and then forward the package to the NFA Branch in Martinsburg for...

That is opening day of bow season!!!!

Bummer of a day choice. Opening day of bow season! Unless I can arrow something right off the bat that morning, I won't be able to make it. Let's make it the next day, on Sunday instead! I will bring all my subguns and if you guys bring the ammo (.380, 9mm., .45) you can shoot them all you want! Bum...

WTB Glock 17L, new preferred.

Howdy gang, looking to get a Glock 17L. Had one years ago and sold it to help pay for my first machinegun. Now I discover that I regret selling it and I miss its long sight radius. NIB preferred. What have you got? I am in Pentagon City.

Re: My First Glock

Great choice!! You will be very happy and that gun will not let you down. Plus, now there are factory extra large capacity mags for the .40 available! If I could only own one handgun, it would either be a 23 or a 19. Enjoy and stay safe.

Jakeiscrazy:

The stock locks up like a vault. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that this folding stock is very solid, very comfortable and very easy to use. You will see for yourself next year at the next Meet and Greet.

Got my approved ATF Form 1 for a Pocket Rifle finally!!!

My first ATF Form 1 process is now completed and it was for a Short-Barreled Rifle. These 10/22 SBR projects are commonly referred to as a “Pocket Rifle” and I got hooked on the idea after goofing around online looking at guns last fall. I started with a bare Volquartzen stainless receiver and built...

What a wonderful time! Met many great folks, shot some cool guns and didn't get all that wet! Looking forward to next year already and hopefully drier weather! Will camp out for sure next time if it stays dry. Thanks to Bill and Bill Jr. especially for all they did and do to put this on. Hopefully t...

Rain? Rained out?

Howdy gang: So what's the verdict on the weather? Have a LOT of guns and gear to bring and keep dry and a long drive, and rain may keep me away. On the fence at this point, will decide late tonight based on the latest forecast and radar and will head down early tomorrow if things look like a decent ...
