Re: ABC Store and Concealed or Open Carry
I have noticed all ABCs where I go in NOVA with signage in the last 9 months or so. The signage would imply to me that all guns are not allowed. So concealed carry is allowed? New McAwful law/ordinance? TIA Edit: BTW, the socialists in Montgomery County, MD are way better than Virginian ABC. For exa...

Re: Now comes the wait
The wife just called the Arlington Circuit Court and said she had filed 52 days ago.
They said it would be 60-90 days. She said she wanted a temporary license.
They refused. Government in violation of its own laws.
Anyone else had a similar experience?

If not carrying I only give the license, if carrying I give the license and CCW, but do not say anything in either case unless asked.

Re: Selling Privately to Get Best Price....Just a Few Questions.
I do a bill of sale with names and VA drivers' license numbers with a signed/dated statement that neither I nor the buyer are a commercial dealer in firearms.
You can ask for a CCW holder, but that cuts down your audience.

I sent a modest $25 to the fund.
This is crap. The cop is bad enough, but we have to fear some knucklehead contractor?

Re: The real problem: Income inequality
Disparity has 2 relevant interpretative concepts.
At what absolute level of income is the disparity?
And did the disparity come from: people dropping down to the lower level or the lower level losing members due to upward mobility (thus, leaving more of the unemployable/unhelpable in the lower class).

I would wait the remainder of the 3 years and not get caught in the system.

Re: Defending property with deadly force?
Just assume you can't shoot over property (arson against occupied dwellings appears to be a special case, assuming it doesn't fit under immediate mortal danger to the occupants, which it probably does). Although I would be for a small carve-out for when they are stealing your $15 million Ferrari 250...

Re: Concealed Carry Help
To me, the issue is; can I count on having both arms and hands free to draw and rack simultaneously? With both hands and arms free, I can draw and fire with a rack included just about as fast as I can without the rack. No you can't count on it. You may need to fend off the attack with one hand; or ...

My prime is an 18" SA M1-A about to be scoped with a 3-9X Leupold.
If I were actually limited to a single long gun it would be an 18-20" 12 ga. with good rifle sights which enables you to easily get COM hits at 100 yards with good slug rounds.

The Dems know its a loser to campaign on.
They are going to try a ban thru a UN end run.
Obama is the only one on the planet that could have made me vote for McCain.
