Chickahominy WMA (Deer & Small Game)
A friend and I are looking to try a new spot to hunt on public land and I crossed with Chickahominy WMA in my searching. I was wondering if anybody has any info, tips, etc on this WMA? Are their plenty of deer? Or will this place be cleaned out by the end of November? Are there any key locations to ...

Re: Firearm Pricing - Wholesale/Retail Spread?
A guy from another industry (electric guitars) put it this way; "I sell new guitars because someday they become used guitars." And he knows his stuff. Someone buys a new guitar at a 3% mark up at, say $3,000. A couple years later they sell it back (or trade it in) for $800 if they are luc...

Re: Firearm Pricing - Wholesale/Retail Spread?
General mark up on firearms is < 10%. On some models it can be as low as 3%. There are some large retailers that have for sale at retail pricing items I can't get through distributors for that low of a price... volume makes a big difference in what kind of deal you can make with the distribution ve...

Firearm Pricing - Wholesale/Retail Spread?
Does anybody know the general price spread between the amount a dealer pays for a gun from a wholesaler and the retail price they mark it up to? For example, what is the Wholesale price on a Glock 19? I see it typically retails for around $500 and varies by $50.00 on the +/- of that $500 price point...

Re: Chinese missile could shift Pacific power balance
How does such an overcrowded poor country afford such a thing? Makes me think about all those MADE IN CHINA products I see on the Walmart shelves. China realy isnt that poor of a country anymore. They are a superpower in many ways !!! They have many of our manufacturing jobs. They are on a big upsw...

I'm also in Loudoun, but in the 32nd House district. I'm so happy we elected a
good Republican (Del. Greason). Although he isn't 100% Pro-Gun. But its better than
then Democrat we last had.

After Gov. McDonald signs the bill it still will not take effect untill July 1 ! It is not immediate on signing. Even if he doesn't sign it will take effect July 1 as long as he doesn't Veto it. Why would this take effect on July 1st? There is nothing in the bill that mentions a July 1st sta...

As soon as McDonnell signs the bill, its the law.
Although, I'd wait until after 11:59:59p of that day before going concealed into a
restaurant. Just to be on the safe side.

Doesn't HB505 have to pass the Senate now? Nope. Well, yes to become law. But no, in terms of holding up any restrictions on citizens concealing in bars. HB505 is more of a granular detail of who has permission to consume alcohol. According to HB505, it simply says, "Prohibits a person, other ...

Re: Beware of Virginia Law on Firearms!
First of all, Virginia has no "castle" or "stand your ground law" regarding self-defense with a firearm. Therefore, even if you are 100% justified in using your weapon to defend yourself or your family, you will be arrested, jailed and have to go to court to prove that you were ...
