Re: Wikileaks

Well, as it turns out, all that technology wasn't necessary after all, huh? This just goes to prove that old adage about giving a man enough rope.

I was a member of that forum for almost ten years. I know about the wealth of knowledge over there. Cast Bullets Association is also a good source. I'm over there.

Re: .45 acp w/ small primers??? any info??

I've seen discussions on this before. Don't remember the brand of brass that was mentioned, but bottom line was use a small standard pistol primer and load as usual.
A real PITA when they get mixed in with the rest. Time to sort.

That's a good deal and a good machine, but I can't afford that right now. Thanks for the tip, Rick. You're a good guy.

Re: Brass from shooters to reloaders

Hey, guys, I've got about 70 gazillion .223 brass. Some commercial, some LC. I'll be glad to trade several to one for any of the following calibers: 6.5 X 55 Swedish .30-06 .303 .45-70 .38 Spl. I also have way more .45 ACP than I need. I'll trade a few to one for any of the above, especially .38 Spl...

My tumbler died

After 8 years of hard use, my Frankford Arsenal case tumbler bit the big one. One of the motor leads broke at the motor housing.
Midway has a Lyman 1200 PRO on sale for $41.99. Janet's going to order it for me in the morning. By Saturday, I'll be running brass.

Re: Bullet casting

I've been casting and handling lead for about thirty years. I had a blood level test done recently and when the results came back, the nurse told me mine was lower than she had ever seen. How's that for a lead handling safety program? And, yes, G, I know where it started. But I don't use merc...
