If you get "made" carrying concealed...
Hi folks, Quick question - what happens if you are "made" carrying concealed? Lets say you go somewhere, Wal-Mart for example, where you are perfectly legal to carry. You bend over to check a price on a bottom shelf and your jacket raises above the bottom of your holster, revealing either ...

Re: Auto/Spring loaded knives in Va?
So what is the worst case scenario? If someone were to carry an auto and get caught for that single offense, what can they expect? Fines? Jail time?

Re: Auto/Spring loaded knives in Va?
So it appears this is a Class 1 misdemeanor. Realistic penalties for this offense alone?

ASP style expandable batons...
Are they legal in VA and MD? For possession, carry?
Is OC legal for carry in MD?
I'm trying to figure out what my options are, primarily in MD, since I obviously cannot carry a gun there.

Re: Transporting / keeping rifle in trunk w/ CHP
If there is no round chambered, and there is a loaded magazine which is kept next to the gun but not in it, the gun is unloaded, yes?

Do you have to remove the rounds from the magazine or can you leave the mag loaded?

Legality of "Truck Gun"
Hi folks, Does anyone have a clear answer to whether or not it is legal to have a loaded shotgun or rifle in my trunk? I have a CHP. If it is NOT legal to keep a loaded shotgun or rifle in my car, I'm thinking a "Mare's leg" lever action .44 mag would make a nice auto companion. Burnsd :ma...

Seecamps at Nation's Gun Show?
Hi folks,
I'm looking for a Seecamp .32 and I'm thinking about trying to find one at the Nation's Gun Show today. Has anyone seen Seecamps there before?

Re: Silver Eagle Group
I want to try SEG.
Can I shoot my shotgun there? Slugs only?
I just bought my first shotgun and all the ranges I've called will only let me shoot slugs. I really want to try shooting some buck and bird through it.

I believe, with any interaction with LEO's, The way you treat them goes a long way, even if you're in the wrong. I know a friend of mine (Va Beach Officer) who was going to give a guy a warning over his trailer inspection being outdated, turn around and give a citation because the guy gave him a ha...

If I have a beer at dinner tonight...
Hi guys, I'm going to a restaurant tonight to watch some NCAA basketball (my team made the sweet 16!) because I don't have cable. Here's my question: If I lock my gun in the trunk or glove box before going in, and then I have a beer and some wings while I'm there, and then reenter the car to drive h...

Might start hunting...
Hi folks, I'm interested in getting into hunting, a lost art in my family for two generations now. I'm mostly interested in deer, but I'm open to turkey or other game. The only rifle I have that I COULD hunt with is an SKS, so I'll probably buy a shotgun, or a bolt or lever rifle. I like the look, h...

Re: SB 334 Concealed handguns restaurants - Passed
This is a great change for the good. Choices aren't as limited now; I was dining more frequently at Bob Evans and Cracker Barrel since I moved here (since they don't serve alcohol). The law against carry in alcohol serving establishments was silly and ineffective nanny-state BS, and had no place in ...

Any educated guesses on how long before the governor signs off?
The minute he signs off, is it law? Or, is it law as of a certain future date (like parks carry)?

Transporting / keeping rifle in trunk w/ CHP
I've been perusing the posts regarding transporting a firearm in a vehicle but I haven't seen this specific question addressed: In Virginia, can a CHP holder keep / transport a loaded rifle in their car or trunk? What about an unloaded rifle with loaded magazines next to it? I have no plans on doing...
