Military adopting new pistol?
I was doing alot of research on the net and came accross some reading about the United States Military adopting the Fabrique Nationale Herstal FNP-45 Semi Auto Polymer Frame pistol for duty use. I (who have had experience with this pistol) hope they do not turn to this pistol mainly due to reliabili...

Re: Glock LEO Pricing
This is probaly going to be way off topic but what is LEO for FNP/FNX? I notice alot of officers I've had contact with me, informed me they love FNH USA's series of pistols (as do I) but claim they are overly expensive. I know they range $600 + for the 9mm/40S&W for FNXs $400-475 for the FNP and...

Re: FNH USA FNP 45 USG
Well it's getting replaced again, but they replaced it with 14 round magazines (the one I have just sent in), and I did try using different magazines that were sent with it, one was even a 15 round magazine. But regardless of magazine the problem was still there. I just gave them a call yesterday an...

Re: FNH USA FNP 45 USG
Well, despite all the mess, I'm going too keep it just because I like the looks of it, in fact the GLOCK 21 I got has extractor issues, specifically with empty casings being directed at the user when extracted. :bangin: I'm having it serviced this weekend, I work two jobs so I may have too do anothe...

FNH USA FNP 45 USG
Well, I honestly don't know how too start this one off. I bought a FNP 45 USG back in December 2010, at first sight the gun looked OK, no serious issues, not until I finally got it apart and when cleaning the barrel I noticed there was a large machine burr around the crowning and a small bit of the ...

Re: Oxidation maybe?
Hey guys, Sorry for updating an old post but I'd figured I would put this information out for those that may be interested, I also updated this post as it still refers too the topic of this post so I didn't feel a need to make a new one. I purchased another GLOCK, a GLOCK RTF2 9MM too be exact with ...

Re: Oxidation maybe?
I understand, I apologize if I wasted anyone's time. I've only had it for 2 months but of course I carry it alot and have had about 800 rounds through it. It's not my first GLOCK but it is the first GLOCK I've exposed too carry concealed and weathering. I make sure I apply REM Oil every night before...

Re: Oxidation maybe?
It would be difficult to determine through pictures, I've tried but it doesn't show the area. Like I said only when in direct sunlight or low light settings in the right angle, same thing with the sunlight it has to be angled right. I know this might sound weird but if in standard light or just shoo...

Re: Oxidation maybe?
It's a possibility according to the definition online or so it seems worded that way, is there any safe way to remove it?

Oxidation maybe?
Hey guys, quick question, my GLOCK 22 I carry has started to make certain spots on the right side of the slide that look somewhat discolored. It didn't start untell I left my GLOCK 22 on the carpet of my truck during the day which I did for awhile until I discovered this issue. (My option for storag...

Re: Best holster for GLOCK 22
According too BlackHawk, the wobbling problem can be easily fixed by replacing the rail spring with a new one, this is the information I have been clarified with as of Friday. I'm just waiting for a return response on when the item will arrive. My only problem is I'm unsure of how to replace the rai...

Re: Best holster for GLOCK 22
It has nothing to do with cost reasons for the leather holsters, it's mostly due to personal issues, mostly that I haven't seen any 'thumb break' leather holsters to date. I'm not a big weighted person, so I feel more comfortable with the extra security the tactical holsters have to offer. Another t...

Re: Best holster for GLOCK 22
I'm pretty sure it's a Generation 3, but I could be incorrect, I feel bad because I'm pretty good with the different style/model Glocks out there, however, the Generation 4 has that new spiky style grips am I correct? If I am incorrect, this may be the issue. I'll try to contact BlackHawk again, alt...

Best holster for GLOCK 22
Hey guys. I recently purchased a GLOCK .40 22 and love it too death, however I can't seem to find a decent holster for it. Here's where it gets better, I actually got a BlackHawk CQC SERPA holster with carbon finish. I liked it at first up until the point I found out it was a bit loose in the holste...

Re: Nerds and guns do mix - video
I also noticed they used a .22. I wonder what would happen if they used a .50AE Desert Eagle, or a .500 Magnum or hell, even AR15.
(with full automatic.) I wonder if it would be considered cheating.

Re: The last shot
There's one thing I cannot stand and that's people thinking they have the right too sue manufactures for stupidity of a 'third party'. I use too do gun forms for a local business and believe it or not, there were wives/girlfriends who wanted too take their partner's place because they were incapable...

IWI Tavor Rifle
This question is going too be stupid so I apologize. I seem too have developed an obsession with Israeli made guns :packin: and was wondering, did the Tavor Assault Rifle developed by the wonderful IWI ever make it onto civilian. I know KBI Inc of Charles Daly was the previous importer of the ...

Re: Gamers?
I have too say, I had a PS3. Problem is, I can't seem too get into FPSs. Way back in the day, I use too play Counter-Strike. After I get into military weapons, the shameful thing was when I watched people play FPSs, I could usually name all the guns. About the comment above about the F2000, (FS2000 ...

I'm sorry, but someone had too say it.
