Re: small cc gun ---kel tec
Until recently, I owned a PF-9. I loved the size, weight, fire power and ergonomics of the pint sized 9mm. It was very easy to conceal while wearing darn near anything. Sure, the recoil was snappy but expected for a 12oz weapon. The only thing that (for me) prevented it from being the perfect CC wea...

Re: Superior Pawn & Gun Inc
I shoot from time to time at Superior on Little Creek rd. it's a nice range but one word of warning...When their bullet trap gets full it will send lead back at you, esp if you are shooting something like a .44 Mag. Also it's not exactly located in the best part of town so I reccomend CCW if you can...

Re: Blackwater founder cutting ties with company
Lots of people support Blackwater, but from my reading so far, why are they above the law? J. Paul Bremer's Order 17 gave the Blackwater guys immunity from any prosecution. US troops are held to the UCMJ, but private military contractors get a "Get out of Jail Free" card? Why? Working for...

Re: In case you run out of stupid things to attach to your gun..
Come on y'all! It most certainly has a practical purpose I guess most of you have over looked. Suppose, an attacker threatens your life with a bat, machete, axe, knife, or box cutter. Would you just shoot him? Of course not! Now, that wouldn't be sporting would it? No "respectable" person ...

Re: Carrying in vehicle
No, Virginia is not a must notify state. However, I have heard (but don't have anything with which to back it up) that one of the first things that an LEO sees when running a driver's license is the fact that they have a concealed handgun permit. ( In Hampton Roads) As soon as a LEO ask dispatch to...

Nice shoes.... Are those made in China or Taiwan?......... Yea, we used to manufacture those too but it was cheaper to out-source.

Cannon makes several small ones that give good resolution and a video option as well. I got a Canno (link below) for Young last Christmas and its a great little camrea. Fits in a shirt pocket with room to spare. http://www.amazon.com/Canon-SD1200IS-Stabilized-Light-Gray/dp/B001SER48S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=...

Re: Bears!
Pretty cool. Did you get a pic? Unfortunately no. When I hunt, I try to leave some of modern technology behind, so that I can take in the outdoors, without the worry of damaging expensive camera equipment or loosing my cell phone. The downside, is that some images can only be reproduced in your min...

OK, so I wasn't exactly in Va. but just a little south of the State line in Gates Co., NC. So, there I was,.... ignoring my husbandry duties, while perched peacefully about 18' up in a pine tree, in hopes of observing what had been nibbling at my (legal in NC.) corn pile. Sitting in a drizzling rain...

Re: GOA Alert,,, Baucus bill could ban guns!
HR 2640, NICS Improvement Amendments Act of 2007 On December 19, 2007, both the House and the Senate passed HR 2640 by unanimous consent. Under the 1968 Gun Control Act, an individual is prohibited from possessing a firearm if he: (a) is under indictment or has been convicted of a crime punishable b...

Re: GOA Alert,,, Baucus bill could ban guns!
Remember, the federal government has already denied more than 150,000 military veterans the right to own guns, without their being convicted of a crime or receiving any due process of law. They were denied because of medical information (such as PTSD) that the FBI later determined disqualified thes...

Got one on now!....Purchased from Extreme Outfitters. I think every "real" American should own one. I used to own two but the one I picked up from a Snake-eater (Black Water operator) friend turned up missing somehow. It was my favorite, but I guess someone wanted it more than me???

Re: Can you hunt deer with semi-auto in VA?
Since we have a two deer a day bag limit a semi-auto may come in handy for some people. But if you get a couple or more together getting two out of the bunch isn't hard. I've done it with a bolt action rifle and a muzzleloader. I made the mistake of taking two with my Remington 700 once, about a mi...

Re: Restaurants (Fast Food)
Well truth is, "by law" if an establishment has a license to sell alcohol for consumption on their premises, then packing concealed is indeed a no-no. This law really was intended to keep handguns out of bars. Probably a good thing...That said; if your gun is really concealed then there sh...

Re: New Range bag needed.
I have one of the most expensive range bags that money can buy. A 24 by 28 foot garage as it contains my reloading room and most of my shooting equipment. Walk out the door and you are at the range, LOL :hysterical: :hysterical: Bill Must be nice! Down here in Norfolk, if you aren't shooting from a...

The design is perfect with tons of storage for all my crap I take with me to the range. Hell, the wife, who was home when...

Re: New handgun for teaching.
When the Safety is on, the P22's hammer does not strike the firing pin. It is safe to dry fire it in this position because of the hammer block. Snap caps will not make any difference IF the safety is on. I'd use caps if I desired to train with the safety off.
