The Range in Stafford - IDPA/Bullseye

Anyone here ever participate in the IDPA or Bullseye shoots at "The Range" in Stafford? I've been doing well at bowling pin shoots, but want to expand my horizons.

I attempted to go to an IDPA shoot down there several years ago when I was first getting into IDPA. The guy that runs the place had taken my name and told me that if there was a cancellation of the shoot he would call those on the list. So the day of the shoot came and I jumped in my car and headed south to the range. Fighting traffic and arriving a few minutes early, only to find an empty parking lot and locked range. No calls, no joy.

Since then I've not even attempted to jump in that again. When does he hold IDPA and have you shot there in a shoot with others??
